I disagree with that Paynter has had one good season in his career and that is the season when he was paired with Austin, Paynter will be found out next season, But Austin is their star striker imo. would like to see him a saints shirt

The league is better than the last time you were here. Imo the top two places will be between us, Huddersfield and you. As other people have said you have got the losing mentallity within your squad so it all depends how your season starts and how this HMRC thing effects your team for how well you will really do.

I see huddersfield are trying to sign Steve Howard from leicester for 300k i would rather spend the money on him as a back up to Lambert rather than get a similar player to Barnard and Connelly. On another note Huddersfield are building a good side and if they do sign Howard i think they will be our main contenders for the title

I can not start a new thread, but i have heard a rumour about the reason for our poor performance at the world cup, but the courts have put a banning order on the press releasing this through out the world cup, now they have extended it for a further two weeks to protect the fa and help them whilst the fa sort out capello's future. Well the rumour,and take it as that for now, is that Gerrard has got his girlfriends/wife (not sure if they are married) Sister preganant and all the England players knew this and Terry had a row with Capello about Gerrard being the captain when he had done simular to what he had and got stripped of the captaincy. This caused a rift between players in the camp some on Gerrards side and others on Terrys. that is what i have heard take it with a pinch of salt, but we will find out if this is true in 14 days when the courts banging order on the press is lifted

I think if we dont sign him then he will end up on loan to another League one club and it will be one of the teams going for promotion against us. So i hope we do sign him because he is such a raw talent and could eventually be good enough for the premiership with the right guidence

Could dickson be the reason for this rumour?? Can play left mid, freeing lallana up to either play in the hole off lambert or compete with puncheon for the right mid place?? This would also give us more balance and natural width.
