Pedants like you should just keep away.
  2. I think you need a break mate because in your desperation to defend Saints you are starting to contradict yourself. You are on a mission without a doubt but have become a parody.
  3. You are not wrong but expectations have risen since Hoddle's time. I remember those 1-0s and at the time thinking well at least we won't be relegated. Now thanks partly to the PR from the Club we have illusions of grandeur. Are we wrong to have them? I assume me from your posts you think we are?
  4. Your negativity drives me nuts
  5. I am not saying anything
  6. Sorry disagree - over a six match mini league it should not have come down to fine margins especially with a manager so "experienced" in Europe.
  7. No you are quite entitled to an opinion as much as anyone but what I was trying to say was those that take a more "active" role in supporting them are bound to be a bit more emotionally involved and you should at least refrain from calling them wrist slitters or whatever. You are a senior fan roughly my age, you post sane thoughts but I get a little irked when you resort to belittling fans as bed wetters or whatever without considering their "support" might be a little more taxing than yours. You know what I am saying.
  8. How many games do you go to each season? I am asking because I contend if you spent time, effort and finance actually physically following the team then you would be less blasé about what is going on. It's easy to call those you don't agree with "bed wetters" from the warmth and comfort of an arm chair.
  9. Are you serious? Prague and Be'er Sheba were v poor and neither side would survive a season in the Premier league. Puel's experience counted for hee haw and Reed is being crass pointing it out. (I do agree that Midgetland was poor as well)
  10. How delusional can you get? He must think the fans are mugs.
  11. Reed saying Leicester are in a relegation battle, which makes us 3 points off a relegation battle? He also boasts about Puels experience in Europe......oh really? It's a very poor weak interview full of holes.
  12. About time you picked up your knighthood for services to SFC beyond the call of duty. There is support and blind faith, you fall into the latter category of that there is no doubt.
  13. In "preliminary spinning fire fighting mode" already I see, no wonder you are a Tory. What is it about you that hates the establishment (or normal order) being threatened. I am really intrigued, you pop up like a baboon whenever there is a whiff of insurrection. Fascinating. Fascinating. I think you are basically insecure Trousers. I have got to meet you, even study you because you are a one off. You are good too, a polite poster, a rarity on the internet. You are intelligent too. Fascinating.
  14. China bound I reckon

They weren't horrific and I wouldn't call them hooligans. Just teenagers who liked a punch up with their football. They stood under the Toomers sign in the Milton Rd so if you wanted to avoid them you went elsewhere but every young lad whether they were violent or not seemed to want to stand there.
  16. Didn't Beattie and Co shaft Sturrock?
  17. More money and an extension = a new contract so don't know why Fonte is claiming otherwise.

Killer Calloway still goes I saw him in the Kingsland recently

I saw him in action and you would not want to cross him for sure but he never picked on anyone who wasn't also prepared to be involved. I don't want to glorify what went on but most young lads in that era got their kicks from a dust up on the terraces and then bragging about it at school on the Monday. It was a national past time then.

Partial to a cruise too! His old sparring partner Malc Lovejoy still regularly goes to away games.
  21. Not if we had signed him before the Europa games he wouldn't have been.
  22. He actually got on the bench for us on one occasion - I have a photo!!!!
  23. Maybe but I don't remember Koeman to be sacked polls with more wanting him out than in
  24. I am not asking for them to conduct their business publicly, just quickly bearing in mind it's been a month since we lost Austin and even before that we were struggling to score goals. I expected us to hit the ground runnning once the window opened. Sorry my expectations seem to irk you however.
  25. Fair stab at an analysis
