  1. Really puts that new contract into perspective - very good move from the club!
  2. What will be left after the fire - will a Phoenix arise from the ashes or will it just be the charred remains at the site of the fire? Meanwhile the PDT is still trying to stump up money for a few water pistols to take up the fight with Chinny the arsonist. Unfortunately the water post next to the fire is owned by a property developer who will charge for water... Uncle Trevor was supposed to make sure that the fire didn't get out of hand, but he is torn; it's clearly out of control but it does keep him nice and warm...
  3. Frank's Cousin. OP is a nutter...
  4. I think you are the one who got it wrong when you heard them talk about Pompey - you may have heard naval base, but in reality they said navel gaze...
  5. Very nice interview, thanks!
  6. Loving the new "Micah Hall" angle that exposes his worst crime: to abandon the quest for truth in favour of a propaganda job for the PDT...
  7. Why are we even discussing your ladder, social saint?
  8. Can we have a category for "posters who actually seem to know something about what happens on a football pitch and not just what happens on a football forum"? I'd nominate Lallana's Left Peg, neef and... nah, no good to have a whole category for just two people
  9. Yes, so you do. Not quite sure how that happened, but it has been scientifically proven by the OP...
  10. Which of these 7 teams would win in a cage fight to the death?
  11. I think he would cut an imposing figure wearing a Saints striped mankini and a giant foam hand!
  12. Back in the "good old days" pop artists would make a hit song and force you to buy a full album with 12 crap numbers to get that song. Was that ok? Now they can't do that anymore as people will buy only that particular song they are interested in, avoiding all the crap...
  13. Haiku of the week New business models Money will be spent elsewhere Still, life will go on
  14. Apologies if our defensive setup has already been covered over the last 8 pages, but for me, Hooiveld must play today. They have a dynamic and pacy offense, but with the absence of HBA they will rely heavily on long balls. That coupled with Cisse's strong physique puts us well into Hooiveld territory IMHO.
  15. Re 2: but do they not argue that without a golden share there is no club, so the remaining PPs won't be send towards PFC - or in this case the footballing creditors? They will instead be divided amongst the PL clubs...
  16. De Ridder didn't come off the bench in Bolton's 4-1 win against Hull today. Sharp came in action after 80 minutes in Forest's 2-0 away win at Charlton. Hammond played all game for Brighton in a 1-0 win at home to Burnley. Seaborne played all game for Bournemouth as they lost 1-0 at home to Sheff. Utd. Forte did not feature for the Blades (injury?). Barnard got 83 minutes for Oldham in their 1-0 win against Pompey. Reeves came on after 78 minutes in Southend's 2-1 away victory against Wycombe. Hoskins came on after 87 minutes in Stevenage's 2-1 away defeat against Shrewsbury.
  17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journalism So there you have it. #factlessallen and his crew are still stuck in the 19th century
  18. I have to tip my hat to a fan who actually cares enough to look at the relevant documents rather than just jumping the hero/villain-agenda of the day as broadcast by #factlessallen and the PST-thugs. So here it is. (Fitzhugh: here's more to play with: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/misc.php?do=showsmilies)
  19. I'm not too confident about this, but couldn't the £985,196 of PPs have been used for something else than running costs?
  20. It's really telling that the "fradulent" quote has been picked up by several posters in this thread - way too few journalists cover this angle...
  21. Saw it at the cinema yesterday and loved it. I also thought about Blazing Saddles when they first ride into town and a local says "A n*gger on a horse?!" I haven't laughed this much at a movie since 'Fear and Loathing', so a thoroughly great experience for me. Revenge is such a powerful engine to a movie
