Sitting at a gig behind my drums with my laptop on the snare drum streaming from firstrowsports! We start at 6.30 UK time, so I will miss most of the match :-(

The ..aren't you glad we didn't buy them thread.

He could have made him the "Wealthiest Mister"! Or told him that Sun Tzu said: "Athlete Wise Trims" Damn you anagram generator - couldn't find anything with Messi in it -
Same here - until 10 minutes into the Posh game. Going from a demand of 7 points of 9 to 2 points of 6 did wonders to me

True, but it has to be said that by all accounts Gorkss has had an excellent season for Reading - so we didn't exactly evade a landmine there -
Apparently they'll ship O'Dea back to Celtic, so it makes sense to go for Pearce instead.

The above quote is a keeper - well put!

Norwich fan in trouble for leaking pictures of new kit?
Lazlo78 replied to sotonjoe's topic in The Lounge
If he managed to get hold of the pictures they must have been online - there were just no links to them yet. Will Norwich claim that he has done something illegal in locating the pictures without a link? -
My sense of injustice is also dwindling by the minute as it appears that they are going down.

Just seen the extended highlights on Saints Player: some great moments in that match! Butterfield's last ditch tackle, Davis' save at full stretch, Lallana's efforts for the 2nd and 3rd goal...

"After the weekends matches we needed 7 points and now its…. 2 games left, 2 points needed." Wonderful

What's the story with Butterfield recently? Seemed Frazer had permanently claimed the RB slot, but apparently Danny is picked ahead of him and doing well (judging by match reports). Never our MoM but never our scapegoat either. Just a case of two RB's that are equally rated by the manager? Frazer not firing at 100%? Butterfield picked as a specialist for certain games? Edit: maybe slightly stupid of me to bump a thread with this title, but it seemed the most appropriate thread to use... and it's too late now to unbump it anyway...

If that's an either/or question that's quite funny. The question is ever so slightly tilted towards one of the choices

Agree that the people at St. Mary's deserve a HUGE party against Coventry, not 90 minutes of radio listening and butt clenching. "See" you Saturday when we finish the job at Riverside!
-
"So Nigel, you we're up 3-0 going into stoppage time, but managed to throw it away with 4 late goals. This must be a disappointment for you, right?" Well... ummm...
-
I see too few games (tv games and highlights) to really comment with authority, but as with Ricky the evidence supports that your assessment is fair - the coaching staff knows how to get players fit both physically and mentally!

Reading the thread title I'm always thinking that Adam has died

Goosebump time. Let's stay focused as h*ll and take this all the way...

Job well done. Very professional team bouncing back like that after the Reading disappointment. Sooooo close now!

Congratulations to Reading. McDermott seems a likeable and knowledgeable manager, and his team has absolutely earned their promotion with that fantastic final push. Good luck in the PL next season!

Repeat after me: control the controllables

We're going to do it. We're really going to do it!

No no, Dave, no chicken counting yet... Gaaaaahhh....

I do admire those who believe that everything will go our way and who do not get depressed the moment they don't. I need to brace myself for failure, cheer along and get pleasantly surprised to cope

I'm assuming both Reading and West Ham will get late winners and that the takeaway tonight is that we take care of our own result. Should any of the two fail to claim a winner it's just a bonus
