  1. This may not be the right thread for the following request but here goes: I'd really appreciate a player review for the season like those Chez and others post after the games. Sort of wrapping up the performance and status of the 35ish players involved in this season - or just the key players. Any takers?
  2. Appearances for Saints this season across all competitions - we played a total of 53 games (taken from http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Appearances/0,,10280~201110280,00.html): FLC CUPS TOTAL Name Start Sub Start Sub Start Sub Kelvin Davis 45 0 0 0 45 0 Richard Lambert 42 0 2 4 44 4 Adam Lallana 41 0 3 2 44 2 Jose Fonte 42 0 1 1 43 1 Jack Cork 39 7 3 0 42 7 Jos Hooiveld 39 0 2 0 41 0 Guly Do Prado 36 6 3 1 39 7 Daniel Fox 37 4 2 0 39 4 F. I love.

    I too love!
  5. We also need to keep the nucleus of our team in place or we'll lose all momentum from the last two years. Improve on a few key positions but keep faith in this team!
  6. As far as I can gather, he has been manager of Southampton for 98 games (cup games included) with W60/D18/L20 and 186-88 score... Legend...
  7. Thank Markus for saving the club, and thank you Nicola for selling the vision to Markus! Without that stroke of luck, we could have been looking at an era in League One or below...

  10. Schneiderlin showing today that he is up for the PL. Pure class...
  11. Pompey losing
  12. How can we score 4 without have Ricky on the scoresheet?! Amazing...
  13. yyyYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSS!!!
  14. Drove a few hours up through Jutland to be ready for kickoff and landed myself a speeding ticket *grrrrrrr* Turned on tv just in time for the first goal - amazing The boys seem well up for it, and it's hard to imagine Coventry scoring three (as by now a 2-2 would still see us up, unless West Ham score four?) Roll on 2nd half - this is what we've all been waiting for!!!
  15. Never heard this story before. Do you know of any online ressources, where I can read more about this? Edit: this response was timed perfect after tdd's post!
  16. From me to the creditors:
  17. It's great to see raised awareness about these issues. No doubt, there will be loads of loopholes, but generally it could help levelling the playing field...
  18. Reading the "promotion... how?" thread (http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37450-Promotion-how...) my thought was "any way possible - no preferences - just get us there!!!". But after the Leicester game I must concede that those of less fragile disposition than myself really do deserve that final day showdown. OR
  19. No regrets. For every "what if we had just gotten a draw against Boro or Pompey" there's a "what if we hadn't won against West Ham or Leeds or snatched a lucky draw against Reading at Madejski"... it all evens out and the table is there before us. One simple task: win a football game. That's it!
  20. I'm convinced it's not true, but at times it seemed like Konchesky was waiting to get robbed in possession to give WHam more chances... But the best moment of the game was Schmeichel saving that late chance. Won't make a difference come Saturday as we'll take care of business ourselves, but it gives a nice safety net in case West Ham are only 1-0 up against Hull late in the game...
  21. Or vice versa? Surely it's the same for Cov and Hull except Hull is a far better team?
  22. That was a dreadful game. No intensity...
  23. FT. We take care of things ourselves Saturday.
  24. Ohhhhhhhh close!
  25. Thank you Kasper Schmeichel!
