Most of the strikers on our books including onuachu looked better thin him .. out of Paul,archer even bbd Armstrong and Stewart you would probably have to place this guy last on who’s most likely to destroy the championship

Honestly see nothing exciting at all in his videos and the videos are usually flattering .. a couple of scruffy finishes from a gangly looking player .. none of the American you tube analyts seem blown away with him really either .. hope we don’t get rid of many of our championship proven players to bring in gambles like this

Think sulemana was pretty much carrying our attack at the end of last season .. sure end product wasn’t really there but it not like anyone else was giving out end product either he did better then dibling .. it’s not like we will take the 18 m and buy a 18m replacement either it will probably get spent on upcoming gamble types that are not at all guaranteed to be better

Does he really look any better then onuachu though . People are celebrating him and sully going but for me it weakens us and it’s as easy to bring in top players when you are in the championship

Must be a bit of a marmite one as for me it’s probably the best striped shirt we have had 😝… the candy stripes are so much better then normal stripes Looks memorable and not just some generic crappy stripes

I don’t usually like the striped shirts but this is lovely .. wish they went even more retro with the logos down the sleeves and material tbh

With all the money we have been pissing down the drain signing the likes of bazunu squad players overpaying for archer and downes and many more I find it hard to celebrate some poxy profit here .chances of these guys coming to us and tearing it up seem unlikely too .. happy to be proved wrong though

He’s done a great job with the boxing at least .. plus the bar is low even gao didn’t get us relegated and he hardly did anything .. this multi club shit seems like we are being used imo using our resources to fund other clubs isn’t really washing for me

Not only that he was mainly played wide right in the promotion season and had the best goals assist ratio.we would be very lucky to get another wide man who would put those numbers up and he could also be used in a two as well . Seems a no brainer keep

Even though you talk like he was way worse then fernandes, both times alcaraz has played prem football his goals and assists have been equal or better in half the amount of games . I think there’s an argument for alcaraz being the more impactful player

Seems like we are just using our status and resources to help the group’s lesser clubs increase in value. Can’t believe some fans think this is a great thing .. it’s very unlikely to benefit us football wise and imo the key goal is just to increase the value of the other clubs to benefit the owners

Think they have kinda screwed up the idea with the home shirt . As others have said shoulder detail doesn’t look right , also the red part in between the collar kinda sucks and they seem to have left off the couple of stripes on the collar which gave it kind of a iconic look ? These little things take it away from the original

Think the anti alcaraz arguments mostly come from the Martin fanboys that try to agree with eveything he did in the same way people tried to defend bazunu with passing stats .. some posters like to always think the manager knows best ..then get stuck in the stance martin tended to freeze out the foreign players a lot more too as we saw with sulemana and onuachu also

This one still pisses me off . I see Everton have signed up our charly. Some of the decisions by Rm are just mind boggling and this is one of them he’s proved on two occasions now he’s premiership quality yet Martin would prefer smallbone and aribo

Absolutely. As crap as we where this season ramsdale made tons of good saves and kept the scores more respectable he’s one that can walk away with some credit from last season .. Bazunu on the other hand in the championship let in piss weak shots on a weekly basis . Its almost like playing with a handicap having him in goal he makes McCarthy look like Shilton. Hopefully the ridicolous idea of him playing every week left with Martin

Could be the biggest.key transfer decision we make in who we replace him with .. I seriously hope we won’t go back to bazunu as pretty much any shot on target results in a goal.. hate to think how bad it could have been with him in the premiership 😂😂

Yeah I could see us going for the loan to buy kinda options, although to be honest THB and downes didn’t really workout that much better then we already had once we got promoted . my main point was signing a big money signing in the championship will not get you the same quality as it would in the premiership take ramsdale for example we could go out and spend a equal amount but a player like him wouldn’t come so it’s not as good value for money .. we have to be careful not to just buy more championship players that won’t make the step up to all those who are calling to sell off pretty much everyone, we went into the premiership with a good championship squad doesn’t really make much sense to now ditch everyone when they are back in the league they are good in ?

Problem with that is we are unlikely to attract a big money striker in the championship.. probably unpopular opinion but the likes of onuachu AA and archer are still probably very strong for championship level .. however shit we where this year a lot of them are still very fine championship players as we saw under Martin

Never thought I’d id feel this happy to get out of the premier league but it’s a nice feeling today.. Still and Spors look really solid choices to start to turn things around now. With a focus on pace and power, a manager that can adapt to situations I’m actually feeling really bullish for the new season now

So much harshness. He’s pretty much been our only creative outlet and way of getting us up the pitch since Xmas . Anyone that thinks dibling has been better in the second half of the season knows nothing . We don’t really even have a attack for the last couple of months so lack of end product is expected Since Johanes spors wants to create a team of pace and power he’s actually one of very few who might at least partly fit the criteria

Potential long term success is the part that makes little sense to me ..when you are going for the young exciting up coming manager types like this he’s gonna get snatched if we are going well.. West Ham could even come calling around Xmas and what good would that be ? honestly that aside it looks a great appointment and I love that he is adaptable

Late reply . Yeah they won the league but that’s as far as any benefit went. Him ditching them after getting promoted helps them no more then martin failing with us .. we both got promoted and both back in the championship maresca makes little difference now

Prefer still to rohl myself .. he’s done well at more clubs .. looks adaptable which is great after the past couple .I don’t like the this is the way we bollocks and still seems to want to always adapt which also makes us less predictable .. I know I’m usually on my own with this kind of stuff but it does bug me though that still seems to have a dream of managing West Ham ..they seem in a bad spot since moyes left and could move in very quickly if still is doing well here

Let me make it clear let’s say we could appoint ‘A -rohl B cooper C Adkin’s and just for the sake of my argument whoever we chose did equally well . The chances of Adkin’s sticking around are a mile higher right? ..and cooper also a lot more likely then rohl .. not sure why this is so hard to understand ? I’m only throwing those names in for the sake of the point before people start about Adkin’s . Someone like cooper could easily do as good as rohl and not get poached as fast which is better for us no? it’s not as black and white as we must appoint a fashionable manager or we do crap
