Brooks is a class act,and out of the right sided players we have been linked with I think he’s the best one .. the question is though do we really move Arma from where he’s doing exceptionally well to accommodate him ? Probably means dropping che and putting Arma centre forward I’m fine with benching che but will we lose the productivity from Arma ?

But let’s be honest he’s pretty much had no league starts and just the last 20 odd minutes of the matches really .. in that time he has scored and had some impact s few times .. aside from that cup games like this where the whole team is disjointed through so many changes .. im not sure what everyone expects from him really in those circumstances

A lot of his season has been disrupt with injuries at the start and then again recently. but it’s not just about him not scoring many so far it’s what he capable of doing he’s absolutely rapid with the skills to match, I remember when he came on vs Spurs last year and he was absolutely frightening running at them, (seemed to be more central that day, but to me a fantastic prospect and don’t get the hate towards him especially swapping him for a kid that just played league one

Surely one of Fraser sulemana edozie could fill in I think it’s a myth all of them need to play on the left . Sulemana best goal in the french league came from him cutting in from the right. its gonna be a tricky job trying to keep all of those happy as it is then you got diblng and saa behind them.. our depth is crazy good atm who would have thought at start of the season the likes of alcaraz or sulemana might not be making the first eleven ?

To be fair not much chance of him breaking through at the moment Fraser,sulemana,edozie,Arma ahead of him and Saa and diblimg and people still want us to sign benson. Pathway looks pretty blocked at the moment.

Yeah I think at the end of the day the relegation will have been a good thing providing we go up this season .. sometimes you just need a reset clear out some of the dead wood and get a winning mentality back

If one thing this season tells us it’s that managers need time, earlier in the season Martin looked to be going the same way, remember scar tissue and Lego head etc then suddenly it all clicked. Also jones had a much harder job as he had to try turn us around in the premiership not in the championship where we have one of the best squads . In a alternative world if he got brought in this season instead of last he might not have done so badly. im In the minority that think we might as well have given him until the end of the season though . After backing him in the window sacking him for selles who didn’t even use the players we spent all January window of was even more pathetic then sticking by their guns imo

Still think we really need to upgrade on him. I’m not really sold by his current form. I think it’s more of a case of the whole team and squad absolutely clicking perfectly at the moment for example Mara has also been scoring too but not getting as many minutes.. in a team playing like this, sure he’s gonna score but back in the premiership where you need to be clinical he’s not the man you want the crucial chances falling to .. hope we don’t get fooled into giving him a new deal.

I’d rather just stick with Arma there and if we need to rotate use sulemana/edozie/Fraser there the above is a great bunch and they all need minutes. If It ain’t broke don’t try to fix it

I’m thinking more about it either upsetting the current team dynamics, or causing unrest. for example Arma might well not be as effective as streight centre forward And also for me I’d much rather have more minutes for sulemana edozie and Fraser .. I know a few on here don’t rate sula so much but he’s got a much higher ceiling then benson imo, potential is huge . But those three all fighting for LW only could mean someone gets unhappy

Still don’t see the point in this rw/benson need with Armstrong having most goals and a ton of assists why would you move him ? its the equivalent of Liverpool signing someone to replace prime salah for this league not to mention we have Fraser and soon to be sulemana and edozie to keep happy. I get the left footed thing but Arma is kinda proving we don’t really need that

Yet everyone seems to think we NEED a right winger ? mind boggling shit to me he doesn’t need moving . as much as Martin has earned our trust I really don’t want to mess with our attacking dynamics for the sake of bringing in a left footed rw..

Thought he was as impressive as Lavia Early last season his form was so good even got called up by Germany i get he didn’t want to stay after we went down but there’s obviously a class young centre back there

Martin has basically said we can’t even make Fraser permanent at the moment .. so I think that rules out us splashing money on the likes of Clarke .. think we will be looking only at loans this window

Great comments from him ..what a absolute class act this guy is both on and off the pitch and to think some thought he had bad attitude.. might not be as rapid or tricky as sulemana and edozie but end product has been top notch . Already becoming one of my fav players

Cos he’s a terrible terrible finisher, even easy chances on a plate he can either scuff or overthink .. I can just about tolerate having him as a squad option in the championship where we get a ton of chances and it doesn’t hurt as much if he misses a chance .. Hope to god we don’t give him a new contract though

Massive coup if we get option to buy ..much more highly rated then Fraser and labelled one of most gifted to pull on the shirt .. on the other hand if it’s just us getting him back to full health I’m not sure it’s such a great move ..

Yes I’ve read Bournemouth fans who thought he was the most gifted player to pull on the shirt .. looked set for a big move before the illness.. he could be a massive massive coup if we could get a obligation to buy deal.. but not sure why Bournemouth would want to let him leave permanently

Was gonna say the same,and I think we are right not to do that. Arma is doing great there,It seems a bit like trying to mess with the winning formula to start changing this to bring in a new left footed right winger.Makes much more sense to just sign a proper cf and leave Armstrong there

Except you seem to be ignoring A Armstrong is mainly playing right wing.. either with che as cf, or a false 9 like alcaraz . we are clearly weaker in the cf position

Pretty much sums up how I feel.. if he reaches top level we lose him and it’s not like keepers go for huge money anyway . its a bit of a flawed idea when in the meantime we have to suffer mistakes for him to learn his trade . Also not every young prospect keeper is gonna turn out to be the real deal either look st Angus Gunn before him as an example,

The thing is Arma is playing on the right and killing it .. the logical move would be to get another centre forward as che isn’t good enough .. why fuck about moving Arma when he’s delivering goals and assists like he is ?

Arma is pretty much playing right wf even if che leaves we have played alcaraz as false nine when che doesn’t start ..I don’t see Arma being moved when he’s doing so well there .. Sam Amo looks a fantastic prospect and he’s completely frozen out due to our squad depth at wing positions yet here we are adding more ?

Right. So sign a a striker then .. do you think edozie and Fraser deserve less game time then ? It won’t be Arma that drops out and we still have sulamana to come back at the end of the month these guys are all super and it would be a bad message to them to be replaced after rheir good performances

I really don’t see the point .. we have arma edozie Fraser and sulemana for these positions let alone Sam AA who’s already frozen out .. seems silly to bring in another winger
