Motm performance from azaz last night the way he took his first touch with the goal opened it up and lovely finish also when there is space in behind he will find you put Leo through for his goal, is it me or did Larin look super frustrated with Leo for not squaring it ? he kinda laid on the floor when Leo scored. if there’s one man we gotta talk about being player of the month though it’s gotta be James Bree he’s been instrumental in allowing us to get away from the 3 at the back has absolutely sparked our run of form and to go with it he’s providing a massive threat could have scored again with that header too, give this man a contract maybe Nathan Jones I wasnt so stupid after all

If he is any good we should be at least making the playoffs from our position with this squad. for the most part I think spors has actually done well in the transfer window the only danger position is striker which is a pretty big gamble but we have quality in most positions compared to the other teams round us.

He kept Everton up and won 6 out of 18 for forest, doesn’t look too terrible . Sometimes though decent managers do fail with certain jobs only gotta look at hoddle at spurs after us or Koeman at Everton . Just seems a bit nuts when tonda is getting lauded and dyche ridiculed after doing an immense job with Burnley . For the moment I think he’s kinda doing what Russell Martin did in doing alright in the championship but if he can be anything more then that is still to be seen

Yeah be interesting to see how Larin does with a start with the first team he’s looking quite a pleasant surprise so far and potentially stronger physically then ross. I’d be happy with that and also give edozie a run out on the right . People arguing for matsuki to start but I think he’s probably better depth/cover for azaz then the wings not sure if edozie is as effective on the right but allows him to cross on his right anyway, really impressed with him since coming back and like Bree it’s like a new signing

I think the thing with azaz is he’s a kinda average player in general but possesses some outstanding attributes like his through balls and vision if he was a fifa player you would probably give him low stats for everything and 90 for passing and vision.. Also think he’s at his best when the opponents are not playing a low block like charlton did what he does exceptionally well is to split defences with through balls to run onto but when there is no space in behind it kinda nullifies his game. I don’t mean this to sound too negative on him as what he does do well I think would even work well at higher level some of his passes and through balls are weighted to perfection so he is always a great player to have

Thought he was great again yesterday the charlton defenders seemed scared to commit to trying to tackle him so kinda just backed off him he was less greedy then usual too. Looks way better then fellows.would be great if we can get him and Leo in the same side

This is nonsense .. whatever your opinion we was second favourites for promotion. Behind Ipswich at the start of the season ..and we have strengthened a hell of a lot since that so yes it is one of the best squads in the league however poorly will still done with it . also what’s the matter with dyche? Your talking about a manager who kept a dogshit Burnley side punching well above its weight in the premier league for a long time .. is absolutely no guarantee of eckart doing any thing of that note and it could well be another Russel Martin type nightmare if he gets promoted and isn’t managing a better squad then the rest of the league like he is in the championship

I think maybe azaz strength is unlocking defences with through balls a bit harder to do with 8 or 9 men camped in the box

I think I’d be happy breaking even on downes it was a transfer everyone wanted at the time but I don’t see a ceiling higher then a very good championship Dm,of which you could probably get another goiod championship dm for a lot less then 18m

Lol preferring bbd is so shocking it’s laughable. But why did we seem adamant on freezing him out or forcing him into moving this season ? Id actually go as far as to say that edozie is a world class dribbler even when he looks like he has nowhere to go he seems to still dribble past people somehow. I do think he is more dangerous then fellows myself fellows obviously a good dribbler also and with a good cross but I think edozie is a absolute nightmare for defenders legs going everywhere and so hard to stop, also probably carry’s more goal threat and enticing penalties

Yeah wouldn’t disagree with you but seems a bit weird we are not gonna hardly anyone to sign .regarding Charles you could understand it if he doesn’t wanna sign as well really he’s been here 3 seasons nearly now and still hasn’t really cemented a first team place even though its unlucky this season . But coming from city and then being Wednesdays star man you could understand if he was a bit frustrated Its kinda mental really when you think the chances bazunu has been given compared to Charles and Edozie the latter hasn’t been treated great at all imo but even judging by his little cameos recently you can see he is still awesome dribbler and probably carries more goal threat then fellows

Not really sure how this works out too clever let’s use charles as an example his first season he wasn’t deemed good enough by Martin, second season was great but out on loan to Sheffield.. this season he picked up a injury and found himself behind jander and Downes but considering he hasn’t signed a new deal any profit for him you would think would be pretty minimal. For a player as good as he is we haven’t really hugely benefitted from him on the pitch and his value won’t be nothing great as he’s gonna be approaching the end of his deal ?

One thing Alfie kinda alluded to which we haven’t really spoken about on here is that isn’t it only jack stephens that has signed a new deal of late ? this could be a big problem going forward as we don’t want to get stuck in a situation where everyone is running down the contracts. Charles in particular I’m not sure will resign and tbh we haven’t really gave him a ton of first team football for different reasons in his time here but you can tell he’s developing into a lovely player we need young prospects like this to resign else our focus on potential loses a lot of the upside

Already starting to think that edozie looks more dangerous then fellows he’s such a tricky dribbler it’s like he doesn’t even know what he’s gonna do himself but he’s so difficult to stop when running at people . gotta say it’s pretty poor on the clubs part for freezing him out he’s an excellent option to have it this level I hope bridges can be rebuilt

It’s nonsense comparing him to our previous managers as the vast majority where not in the same league or we where a total mess (poortvileet etc) I mean Russell Martin had us unbeaten for 25 games in this league but didn’t mean he was a good manager. It’s all good winning games where you have better players then most of the league Personally I think he would get destroyed in the premier league

Not often I agree with you but I do here, the fringe strikers always seem to get a hard time and be expected to just step in and deliver, he obviously can do it at this level if you read boro fans opinion of him they thought he was fantastic . I don’t think he suits leading the line on his own though and we haven’t really found a way to ustilise him to his strengths but jeering him certainly helps no one

Is it ? To me he comes across very shy and sheepish. Not the type that would really command respect from the players . Every one seems to be making the comparison that just cos he’s doing better then will still must be good then . But we have a awesome squad for the championship with a squad like this Damn right we should be doing well I think it’s a lot more the players then tonda though

Good game for Stewart think he also got two assists as well as scoring . She’s Charles needs to be starting after that I think our best midfielder and he hasn’t really had that much game time with saints but he’s come on leaps and bounds now

Our team is looking pretty excellent now in all positions bar the strikers Gk peretz we have gone from worst save percentage in the league to the best might be a bit dodgy with his feet but who cares exactly what the Dr ordered. full backs Bree and wellington have been game changers since coming in ,proper fullbacks who can also defend Cbs Stephens is alright and ThB good but seem to be forging a good partnership at the minute . Cm we are blessed to have 2 out Downes Jander and Charles gotta be close to beat in the division wingers Scuenza Fellows throw in Edozie as back,up again can’t see any one else in the league with wingers as good fellows could do with chipping in with goals though Am Azaz again up with best in the league brilliant vision and can put people in on goal regularly class act CF now this is where it all seems to go downhill. Is Stewart still what he was before the injuries? we have only seen him in glimpses really, massive fitness risk for lasting the season .Larin great debut but also a big gamble with his recent record everywhere else and again is he fit enough ? Archer I’m happy to keep actually although maybe doesn’t want to be here anymore and is probably last choice with the manager I somehow feel like he’s not as risky as the other two but it’s unlikely he starts . Overall we seem to have an immense team now for playoff challenge Huge question marks over the striker situation but in nearly all other positions we are stacked with quality

I liked the way he battled to get himself space for the header but going to give it a few games before getting carried away it still worries me that we let Armstrong go and are relying on Stewart and him

We have every chance of making the playoffs imo only4 points separating us from Wrexham in 6th place and you’ve gotta say we have far the best side out of the teams between Wrexham and us .we just need to be the form team in the last part of the season and we are in the playoffs
