A simple chant of "Election Now!" would do me.. -
Just bought my ticket: painless. Just got in from shopping and straight on the PC and now I have to unpack the food shop! Nice discount for us wrinklies and as I was at Wembley last week for the Women's cup final had an idea where I wanted to sit and got it at the front of the upper tier. Just hope my broken foot continues to heal well..
-
Bastard! 😉 You could have put that in a charity box! And I don't mean the bookie's.
-
Yep, just had a look, so you should be able to find a bar showing DAZN but there is also the Serie B playoff between Palermo-Samp, and Serie A Fiorentina v Napoli so you might want to find a multi-screen place or steal the remote..
-
Yes, thank goodness we never played S****horpe!
-
Good analysis. Back to the U18 goal by Rodriguez which I saw in the game's video highlights on the OS was both the athleticism and skill involved. His moustache may be the most advanced in that age group but he's got some skill too!
-
It didn't work for me, you still can't manage an informative post or one without overdone sarcasm.
-
Off to Wembley with team-mates. I'll check afterwards to avoid stress and save my liver by not watching down the pub..
-
To be looked at, certainly, but not necessarily the right place for everyone, as the Dibling example shows.
-
I suspect they won't get an opportunity at Vitesse Arnhem in the future..
-
I thought he looked deceptively quick, not like a speedy winger and, unlike Sulemanna, seems to know what he's doing..
-
Any streams? TIA
-
Yeah.. I've told my manager I'm not available for a friendly on the 26th. My Pompey supporting team all laughed at me. Bastards!;-)
-
The local FAs get some tickets, so maybe enquire through your kids' teams, or probably better if you have any contacts not in Hampshire or over the Eastern side. I'm a season ticket holder so sorted, but none of my team mates over in Portsmouth would be interested!
-
I was in my final year at Southampton and we organised a coach. I blame the result for my poor performance in my finals due to a week of haze and destroyed memory cells..
-
A wildly swung banjo?
-
Yep, loan him to Portsmouth. That should harden him up and make him appreciate what he has at Southampton..
-
S'ok, we know you're not really a Saints fan, CB..
-
Mara!? Perhaps he's been moaning about not starting? OK, lad, here's your chance. Make or break.. Brooks likewise.. I don't like playing wing boss. So prove the manager wrong then.. Happy for Downes to be sub returning from injury. Apart from that, strongish bench?😁
-
I don't know about picking on Che for not being able to hit a barn door with a banjo, our forward players are like a bloomin' out of tune ukelele band playing different tunes. And the poster above was right, Stu and KWP were knacked, and we know the former isn't effective beyond about 70 minutes. Good player or not his tiredness means he loses the edge of accuracy, mobility and speed. Well, at least we don't have to worry about the next few games: looks like we can save that for the play-offs..
-
I'm sure you're right otherwise more teams would do it, but it would be amusing occasionally just to see the confusion in the defenders up for a corner as to who had to get back to cover..
-
It's odd isn't it. I've seen plenty of quickly taken free kicks which are effective, going back to Terry Paine (!) but none recently. We've a few effective long passers too. The other thought occurred to me when I saw Fraser standing next to Bednarek. Would it not be more effective for Fraser to stay up for defensive corners, thus occupying probably two defenders. He's a strong player but goodness, he's not there in the box for height or for aerial prowess.
-
Don't be silly! He had to pick the ball out of the net for the reserves on numerous occasions.
-
My blood pressure just asked: "can we make it 3?"
-
Well SA has been looking weary so an appearance from the bench seems reasonable against a physical Watford side. Maybe Bednarek is still not 100%? I certainly don't know but if it keeps a few posters happy that they can trot out their glib 'shoehorn' cliché then look on it as care in the community..
