    Pellegrino OUT

Me too. Just can't believe they're not doing anything. Perhaps losing would have done it...

    Pellegrino OUT

Even Nerys Hughes would do a better job
  3. Huddersfield at home. Writing was on the wall even then

    WBA Build Up

I think he'll play McCarthy up front.
  5. WHY WON'T THEY SACK HIM?

    Pellegrino OUT

TBH Tadic was awful too. They should both try moving forward and standing up occasionally. Boufal and Carillo should have been on from the start, but more than that - FAR MORE THAN THAT - they should have been told to go balls out for the win, attacking with pace. Everything stopped in the last third as usual as the players remembered their posession at all costs drill. If he doesn't go today that is it this time. 4-1 relegation odds on Betfair is good odds...

    WBA Build Up

It's the 'wake up and can't believe he's still here moment'. Soon to be replaced with realisation we're sticking with him for some spurious 'honour' reason, or just that we're skint. And then build up to stupid team selection, inept play from players dreaming about their next club. What's the bloody point? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Took the kids last night. Left wondering if they'll see them in the premiership again until adulthood Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Love to See Carillo's relegation clause. Appalling. Almost like we want to go down, sell all players and Gao exits in profit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Tbh. He has been pretty hash but at least goes forward Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This team plays in the spirit of the manager. No balls. And no pace Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. No one is running off the ball. Utterly hopeless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. No Boufal or Carillo. Or Lemina. I just do not get it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. all a bit depressing, this
  20. I now think we'll go down with Huddersfield and Newcastle. All the teams that are keeping their managers... Unless we win handsomely tonight and go on a big run. obvs
  21. Clueless management? Or more interested in reducing debt whilst gambling on coming good? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. We needn't have gone through all this. Sacking MP and getting a decent manager in who knows how to get the best from the players we already have over a month ago would have sorted it. It's mystifying why we avoided this route, unless it is to stoke Les' ego and desire to be proved right in being 'honourable' or stubbornly resisting the clamour from the fans after they were so 'wrong' about Puel. Oh well. Here's to a spirited win tonight to lift the spirits. But I'm not optimistic about that
  23. Gao will immediately sell off the crown jewels and then get out in profit. Perhaps the grand plan all along. We would stay in the Championship (just) the first year and then plod along. All this stuff about winning loads of games shows the arrogance that got us here in the first place (not beating the lower teams). Would be disaster.
  24. The league doesn't lie. Except we're probably the worst team in it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Quincy Promes

This in spades. Caught a bit of coverage of Stoke yesterday on Sky I think it was. Paul Lambert has banned phones from the canteen and asked his players to talk to each other instead. He's also as polite to the shirt cleaners as the rest but advocates being tough enough but nice enough as a balance. I think they'll shoot up the table under his leadership. And we will struggle on with someone who just seems like he is at sea without a paddle. Nice bloke, possibly, but that won't cut it. And Les is banking on this gamble being one he can dine out on for years, when it looks foolhardy. A manager is worth any number of marquee signings
