Boufal an absolute liability. No football brain.
-
We’ve got some really unintelligent players. Boufal never uses his head but that’s a really stupid one. Amazing save from Macca
-
Possession at the back, give it away in midfield, scramble back outnumbered, repeat. Sh*t 2nd from them from a keeping error but we’ve been asking for it, way too open. That said, get the next goal and they may get nervous, they’re as good at throwing away leads as we are.

I might be wrong but I’d assume that comment was meant to be taken with a pinch of salt

Can’t see the club going for that on recent form.

Brilliant performance. I'd give JWP MOTM for shifting to right back against Zaha and absolutely dominating him. Who'd have thought he'd grow to be our hard tackling hatchet man (after Romeu). The only time he got skinned, he tracked Zaha for half the pitch and flattened him with a perfect challenge, setting up a counter attack. Brilliant. Armstrong, Redmond and Bertrand absolutely brilliant. Weird performance from Palace, they just stood off and let us play. Not saying we didn't play brilliantly but they played into our hands. For a short spell they tried to press us into mistakes and we still look a bit dodgy when facing our own goal but they didn't keep it up for long. Biggest criticism is that we didn't bury them, and even at 2-0 with 20 to go you still wonder if we're going to shoot oursleves in the foot. 4-0 wouldn't have been an unfair result.

Other than giving Redmond a 'rest', I'd like to see us unchanged. Our away form has been solid all season, both teams prefer to play on the counter, they've got a few exciting attacking players. Could be interesting and end-to-end or a complete non-event, hard to tell.

Spurs woeful by the sound of it. Can't see Jose lasting too long.
-
VAR is f*cking pathetic. Redmond horribly out of form, never makes a good decision or actually beats a man any more.
-
They’re there for the taking if we keep this up. Ings will be disappointed with his 1 on 1 but so unlucky not to put us ahead.

Really boring draw. Up the Boro

They way I’ve always thought it works is that the club has a discussion with the home team to agree on how many tickets we’ll have based on how many we’re likely to take. Then they’d send any unsold tickets back if the estimation was a bit high (which was rare). It seems they’re now saving themselves the job of posting a few back by just opting for tiny allocations, which they need to be pulled up on ASAP. We travel pretty well and there’s no reason we wouldn’t have taken 3000 to Palace, Chelsea, Leicester... Pathetic by the club, needs looking into.
-
Think they’ll have too much for us, but hopefully we’ll make them need 2+ goals to win and make a good game of it.
-
I'm not sure he'll make as many changes as people are calling for. Some combo of Adams, Obafemi, Long up top for sure. Romeu, Yoshi, Gunn will get starts I'm sure. Difficult one, when you try to name a changed XI you see how short of cover we are. Hard to judge the risk/reward of naming a strong side to win the game vs potentially losing someone to injury.

I'd be shocked if we got anything out of Leicester away but we should fancy getting something against Wolves at home. Decent side but beatable.
-
Before Burnley come to SMS they've got Chelsea, Leicester, Man Utd and Arsenal. They could be in trouble, from memory they generally don't take points off decent teams but have been good at beating the other dross at the bottom (ourselves included at Turf Moor). I'd like to see Bournemouth go down as well. Their desperation for a rivalry aside, that stadium is tiny for the Premier League, wouldn't be a massive loss.

Fantastic result and performance. Spurs awful even with 12 players and VAR on their side

It’s on ripple.is if anyone is still after a stream. Really good quality
-
Not working, thanks though
-
Any streams people?
-
They had 10 shots. We had 5. Either way, we were sh*t against Watford which was my original point.
-
Chelsea had 68% possession and loads more shots than us today, would you say they were the better side? We were awful against Watford until the last 20 mins.
-
We were comfortably worse than Watford for 70 minutes and got lucky. Yes, we were way better than Norwich for the first half but we were lucky to get away without conceding an equaliser in the end.
-
We have been comfortably amongst the worst 3 teams in the league for the majority of the season so still have a lot of work to do. Squeezing past Watford and Norwich at home then beating a really poor Villa away has kept us alive. There's usually one team who has a sh*t first half of the season then pushes on, as well as a team that starts well then nose dives (Bournemouth this year?). It's going to be interesting, hopefully we're able to push on but I feel we're only 1 injury away from being in big trouble, and the games come thick and fast now.

Might be a good way to get Gao & Co to move along if we manage to stay up. Though I agree that to do so now would be a mistake as we’re miles away from looking like a worthwhile investment.
