  1. Hate it, but wouldn't have bought it even if I loved it. Only shirt I've got from the last decade is the 125 anniversary one, and that was a gift.
  2. Hooper over Bent any day of the week. I'd have Kevin Phillips over Bent, can't stand him. The vast majority of his goals are ones that are put on a plate and your nan could score, he probably scores 1 in 10 one on ones. Donkey. Plus he's one of them that would run to the corner giving it the big one even if one of his team mates had just skinned 5 players and laid it on a plate for him. Horrible player.
  3. Goodwood last weekend, BBQs, pub gardens etc in the sun this weekend, Ibiza in 2 weeks, Royal Ascot on the 23rd, weekend in London at the end of June. It's nice to have weekends doing stuff without the distraction of football. I reckon I'll start to get fed up of waiting sometime in July though.
  4. The thing with Holloway, for me, is that he thinks he's got banter. If you go giving it out, you've got to be able to take some, and he can't. That said, I'm glad it's Palace rather than Watford. Always had good times at Selhurst and Watford's loan army getting promoted would've been all wrong IMO.
  5. I'm happy enough with that, thought it'd be more than £604. I missed 8 home games this season due to working up and down the country, but never failed to sell my ticket to a friend or friend of a friend so wasn't out of pocket. Will renew and do the same next season.
  6. Seems to be a bit of confusion about the words. "This is what it's like" makes no sense. "It's not nice" kind of works. At Spurs we were singing: "What's it like to be Pompey, What's it like to be poor....." Makes much more sense to me. FWIW I thought it sounded great and the whole lower tier was bouncing in the second half. I missed the Stoke game due to being stuck working away all weekend, so no idea what got sung in the home game.
  7. Good stunt. Get a good feeling amongst the fanbase in time for a winnable final game and the impending 15% hike on ST/ticket prices. Clever bloke that Cortese. Glad he's staying though, not that it was in much doubt.
  8. Rule 1?

    Harry Houdini

Just heard 'arry on the radio claiming his current squad is "more likely to do a Wolves rather than win the championship next season". Getting your excuses in early as possible Harry, as usual. C*nt.
  10. Beat Spurs, draw at Sunderland, lose to Stoke. 11th. Decent job done.
  11. It's The Sun. There are no quotes. It's a nothing story. Calm down.

    Next season

We will walk this league next season.
  13. Probably best to sum it up once it's finished? We could still finish 8th or 18th.
  14. F*cking corrupt c*nts. Lets hope they get relegated without their deserved penalty. Either way, balance is restored and they're going to remain in our shadow again for a very, very long time.
  15. Yup, I need a spare as well after 1 of the lads got his dates mixed up, and wants his ticket back which has been sold. Tosser.
  16. Citeh 3-0 Wigan -- Routine West Ham 2-2 United -- Just to **** us off Fulham 1-3 Chelsea -- Juan Mata to run the show and score a brace
  17. Looking forward to this, will be my first trip to WHL. Wasn't old enough to be able to pay for myself to do away games until after we were relegated.
  18. Saturday 4th then. Happy with that.
  19. Kevin Nolan would not get in our side.
  20. Junk have really upped their game in recent months, getting good signings most Saturdays. Was there the day we played Chelsea, Luca Pilato then Bicep were on, and it was top notch. They also had James Zabiela 2 weeks before, which I was gutted to miss. Depends on whether you just want to get trashed or like the music really. If you're deciding between those 3, you might as well do all of them. That said, Orange is by far the best of the 3.
  21. So close between Lambert and Schneiderlin, but it has to go to Morgan IMO. Honourable mention for Jack Cork. Shaw at LB has been a revelation seeing as a lot of people deemed him too young and inexperienced to even be given the a start in the PL. Clyne has been decent but plenty of room for improvement, I'm sure he will.
  22. J-Rod will not 'get a few goals' against West Ham, and there is no reason to have Mayuka in the 18. It's strange that you take time to post about another team's forum, but not so surprising it's uneducated drivel.

    Gaston

Thought he was poor today at times. Slows play down, wants to do it all himself, and not the best in possession. It's clear he's got talent but his decision making isn't great
