Her actual reply was "when I sell you to Crewe you won't be able to see them From there". And she did sell her husband, twice. Very impressive lady.

Would agree. In all my Saints days, that was so momentous. Killed their unbeaten at home record, two late goals, Fonte's unforgettable celebration, great day for weather, never gone home happier.
-
Hopefully this will be noted, as will the need to redress the balance.

Surely he's due an injury?

Should have a win win on this. Will have a home ticket (going with Reading season ticket holder friend) but with Saints season ticket too, so hopefully can get in anywhere.

The answer to the OP is no. But financially life takes many turns. I'm secure and comfortable thanks to a very successful sale of development land left to me by my father who sadly never realised its potential. Having said that, I feel the increased cost of living but, with a mortgage paid off and successful daughters no longer depending on me, I'm lucky. I took redundancy from my management job 10 years ago with a good package and pension and now work part-time which suits me, undertake consultancy which pays well and have developed a sideline in property rental. At my age, I don't feel guilty about being comfortable because I've earned what I've got. But I sympathise with those on fixed earnings with mortgages and families. They must be feeling the pinch.

In case you don't know it's strictly away fans only in there so take ID or evidence that you are a Saints fan.

Very good.

P*mpey vs Coventry. El administrato!

Appalling. This just confirms the present rules are hopeless. It is confirmed that one official saw the incident, so no action can be taken. So if the only official witnessing an incident sees it but is too far away to judge it, how on earth can you justify not having a proper video review after?
-
Agreed, especially that bit.

Again, I think Rugby have got it right. The touch judges can bring anything to the ref's attention, even minutes after it happened. With the radio contact in football that should be easy, but I think many assistants take the attitude that they don't want to commit themselves and leave it to the ref. I don't like the tennis/cricket appeals system. The control should stay with the ref. With respect to others' views, I still think the idea that if the ref misses something, he can't give it, is not good enough with the stakes as high as they are. But it would take a lot to a) get video refs introduced and b) change the culture so that a ref who is unsure can refer back at the next break in play and use all the technology available to get a fair result.

There was a 5 minute break for the injury today.

What really angers me is football's stubborn refusal to adopt a video ref as in Rugby. If an equivalent incident to that tackle had happened in a Rugby match, and the red had not had a clear view, or was unsure, simple questions to the video ref would clear it up. Foul or no foul? Dangerous play? What punishment recommended? Was that handball? Anything that helps get things right should be used. So much rides on it. How will a relegated team feel if Wigan survive by one point?

Mods: can we change the title now, please, and perhaps make it a sticky? Quite important.

And I'd nearly given my ST away as I can't go on the 31st. Phew.

Bearsy - you need to investigate and report back.

Ill apparently

Still no Punch (pun intended)
