I don’t think it’s right, just think it looks like it has been clumsily handled. As I said earlier, the actions of the plod probably made it more likely to be a spreading event than if they just let people to disperse naturally, as they were apparently already doing.

Apparently there was a similar vigil somewhere in the midlands recently where permission was denied and it went ahead anyway. The plod there didn’t do a thing, some people went, lit candles a few then went home an hour later.

Probably men attacking people would be more appropriate as it is usually a man doing the killing. The idea of a curfew is bonkers but I think there is a genuine problem of women not feeling safe when out and about. It's not something that would be shown up in the murder stats, think it's more about rape, sexual assault and those sort of things. there are a lot of women who have experienced this sort of thing, much goes un-reported and very few result in convictions.

Agree with this. We're in a freak situation with the schedule, injuries and state of the squad. A club our size should usually never rest players for an away tie at the best team in the land but it does make sense to make sure key players are fresh for the Brighton game. The performance was better than I expected given the circumstances.
