Isn’t he the genius who called Sam Mendes racist for including Sikh soldiers in a WW1 film?
-
Like I said, the soppy ****s crying over it are just as bad as you gammons with your little flags.
-
You missed the point as usual. I think leaving the EU is probably a bad idea, you think it is probably a good idea - either point of view is fine. But neither of us know what is going to happen next year and going forward so it is idiotic to celebrate anything yet, just like it’s daft to cry over it if you are a remoaner. If leaving the EU turns out to be a good move I will be celebrating as much as you and the Gammons in London. Celebrating today is just for the loons, the xenophobic and mainly the many who don’t really understand it but just want it done because they are sick of feeling stupid when they hear about just-in-time supply lines etc.
-
Anyone who celebrates today is a ****ing idiot, same goes for anyone who starts crying. Nothing will change until next year at the earliest, we don’t know what sort of deal we will or get or have a clue about wether we will be better off or not so celebrating is just retarded.

Think we will put in a good performance and I fancy Ings to score but I expect Liverpool will get at least three. They are a level above anyone at the moment.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
aintforever replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Typical Saints, the team has been playing well, why risk ****ing it all up at this stage? -
Great to see Leicester lose again.

I can’t wait to see the ‘got Brexit done’ garden gnome.

There are circumstances where you could end up stationary in the middle lane but it’s irrelevant anyway, the guy in this case was on the left hand lane when he was hit by a truck.
-
To be fair you can’t really label the guy a moron unless you know the full details of what happened. Their are certain circumstances that could leave you stranded in the middle lane, eg an accident, not having an opportunity to safely pull over or breaking down in stationary traffic. You can legislate for stupidity - that’s what a hard shoulder does.
-
You brought your t-shirt yet?

Peace, prosperity, and friendship with all nations - seriously? It’s like they thought up the exact polar opposite of what Brexit stands for. Has to be Boris “there are no press here” Johnson’s handywork.
-
Would have loved to have smashed the skates again but Norwich at home is a decent draw.
-
But there will always be idiots that can't read/obey signs, that is exactly why hard shoulders are safer.

Thick as **** AND no fashion sense.

Sentences should be longer, I would stop letting anyone out early for good behaviour, just add time to their sentence for bad behaviour. The problem is prisons cost money which means paying a bit more tax, and we can’t do that because all the rich people will move abroad or something. I’m not sure about capital punishment, I guess for the most depraved cases where there is no doubt at all about guilt them maybe. But you have to think that in 2020 we have a more civilised way of dealing with these people, and maybe it is worth keeping them alive if only to try and find out why people do those sort of things.

What a surprise, forcing people to wait for help in a live lane is ****ing dangerous. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51236375

Saints v Spurs (FA Cup) Match & Reactions Thread
aintforever replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
You are aware that they toss a coin at the start of a match and can choose to shoot whichever way they want? -
Oh dear
-
Abraham and Vardy crocked as well now, Ings will probably start at this rate.

3 points off 5th!

It’s understandable why some people think racism might be a reason for their treatment when you see the comparison with how Kate has been portrayed for doing the exact same things. Newspapers are never going to be overtly racist about a Royal even if they have racist motivations behind what they write. This buzzfeed article (I can’t guarantee how accurate a representation it is) reminded me of a similar feature about the treatment some black footballers got. White footballer - generous guy buys his lovely family a house v Black football - blows his massive pack packed on expensive stuff. All very subtle, nothing overtly racist written but seen in comparison you have to question the reasons for the difference. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ellievhall/meghan-markle-kate-middleton-double-standards-royal It’s impossible to say if race is a factor but with papers like the Mail or Telegraph which would have a sizeable amount a racist/xenophobic readers I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an element of pandering to their preconceptions.

Yep, happened right in front of me. The little sh!t ran onto the pitch and after Boufal got him off, a steward grabbed him by the collar to make sure he didn’t go back on. Then bizarrely, the bloke, who I assume was his dad, instead of telling the little ****er off decided to start laying into a steward. The other Stewards bundled him but then we’re surrounded by a load his chav mates, who just as bizarrely seemed to be upset that the stewards were doing their job. You have to feel sorry for the kid really, with parents like that he has no hope.

Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.
aintforever replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Calm down old man. It’s pretty much impossible to predict the outcome of an election in 5 years time. Everything depends on what happens with Brexit, if it’s a success the Tories will walk it regardless of what Labour do. If it has any sort of negative effect on people’s lives then the party that screamed “just get it done” will look like a bunch of fools. -
Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.
aintforever replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Exactly. To stand any chance of winning an election Labour need someone who can appeal to middle England. Wether Starmer can do that remains to be seen but it’s no point choosing a leader just to try and win the votes of a load of northern monkeys in their traditional strongholds. Simply by not being Corbyn he should be able to win those back.
