We couldn't have had a worse January window if we tried. The worse thing is the guy we spent £20mill on is not even better than the strikers we have so after going into January staring relegation in the face, in desperate need to strengthen - all we have done is get rid one of the world's best central defenders.
-
**** me are they still persisting with these ‘windows’ even though there are thousands left? It’s ****ing nuts, any member, ST holder or even fans with purchase history should be able to just buy as many as they want by now. I agree with giving the loyalist fans priority but when they do it to the n’th degree it’s just pointless, especially if we don’t sell out. Wembley is a big day out, there are probably loads of people who would have taken their kids or friends but we’re put off by this system.

Matt Targett - Joins Aston Villa (Official)
aintforever replied to Kaiser Soze's topic in The Saints
If he’s on 50k a week we will probably have to get shot of him anyway. -
I wasn’t that bothered by the Skate equaliser to be honest, we were going up, they were going down - couldn’t ask for more than that. In the Chanpionship the prize is promotion, wether you go up first, second or play-offs is little difference. The most sickening St Marys goal I can think of is that Everton one when Crouch ****ed up a shot instead of taking the ball to the corner.

This post says more about you than anyone who chooses not to attend a football game. #issues

If we stay up from our current position it will be compatible to any of the previous great escapes - our run in is a nightmare, I will be surprised if we finish above Stoke. Even if the team was showing some sort of fight it would be a tough ask but they ar3 not, I genuinely believe some of them don’t care in the slightest, they will already be planning their next move.

It’s pretty clear he thinks Russia did it though, try reading.
-
“The use of nerve agents on our streets is barbaric and beyond reckless. The Russian authorities must be held to account. And the Government must do more to tackle the oligarchs and their ill-gotten cash.” What exactly is wrong with that?

To be fair Khan has warned the government about the damage the Tory cuts on will do to the Police in London: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/cuts-will-cost-london-4000-police-officers-at-time-of-unprecedented-treat-mayor-sadiq-khan-warns-a3615751.html

Or maybe we should all wait until the police investigation figures out what happened and they come up with timeline of what happened and a suspect. Like in the Alexander Litvinenko case where the murder investigation pointed to Andrey Lugovoy, a former member of Russia's Federal Protective Service. From the information we have in the public domain there is nothing that rules out another country’s secret service as a potential suspect. It could be a rouge agent from any country that happened to get their hands on the poison, agree it’s most likely Russia but what exactly rules out another country’s involvement?
-
Wouldn't make any difference, if anything it would be better to have them with their flip flops on rather than finely tuned in preparation for the CL final.

To be fair an ex cop now working on youth projects in North London said pretty much the same on the radio this morning. Stop and search has a role but over do it and you just create resentment and miss trust in the communities you re targeting. He said community policing and projects involving the youth much more effective, the kids need to feel like the police are working for them not against them. He directly blamed the Tory cuts, the police are losing trust and contacts within the community.

All that nonsense and the club probably wont sell them all - ****ing idiots.
-
That is simply not true, any country could have produced it as Porton Down clarified today "probably only within the capability of a state actor". As for motive, there are plenty of countries would have a motive to frame Russia. What happened in Salisbury was the equivalent of a murderer leaving his driving licence at the scene, there are only really two plausible explanations. 1. Russia sending a message (most likely) 2. Another countries agency wanting it to look like Russia sending a message. It’s obviously most likely to be 1 but only a fool would rule out 2 unless there is more compelling evidence, especially after the Iraq WMD deception carried out by our secret services.
-
Spot on as usual.
-
is it? It seems to make Corbyn enemy of the state or a Rusky lover. Maybe after what happened with WMDs and Iraq the government will publish the other evidence they have.

If we haven't got relegation clauses we could be ****ed financially. -
Saints can not attack and defend - What Puel knew
aintforever replied to striker's topic in The Saints
I agree with the bit about Puel maybe being defensive because of the CB situation but this season it’s not an excuse, we were just as ****e when VVD was here. Our striker situation is much more to blame than the CBs but the reason we’ve got relegated is because we replaced a perfectly good manager in Puel with someone way out of their depth, then persisted with him far too long. Confidence is shot throughout the team and there is no cohesion whatsoever because of all the chopping and changing. -
Being sent down by Bournemouth on our own patch would not be very nice.
-
I know a fair few season ticket holders who can’t be bothered. Typical of Saints to have all these pathetic priority categories when they might not even shift them all, ****ing useless.
-
This, we won’t be going back for a long long time so might as well make the most of it. Probably going to be a weird atmosphere though, especially if Chelsea get all their goals early on and the fans turn against the team.

A left wing leader attended a left wing Jewish event - big deal. It's almost as if these anti-semitism smears are just because he's anti-Israel - surely not.
-
In theory we should be one of the strongest but it will depend on wether the owner wants to invest to try and get back up or just asset strip to pay of his loan. If Gao has any sense he will look at what Newcastle did and try and do something similar. With the right manager and a bit of investment we should stand a decent chance - wether he will fancy throwing more money at it, god knows.
-
I can’t believe we might be in the same league as them ****s, what a horrible thought.

London is great for a day out, just a ****e place to live.
