War is expensive but when the US army pay $115,000 for a Hellfire the money goes to Lockheed Martin.

Do you really think they would put it down in an email if it was?
-
i think it was more about the control of oil. Plus though there was a cost to the tax payer, the oil, arms and security companies made money. You have to be naive in the extreme to not believe it was all about the oil. Blair and Bush should stand trial.

I would agree with that if there wasn't the problem with the potential break-up of the UK once we leave. Not many Tories would want that IMO.

Decent kit for a change

Iceland were that bad, they were awful. the second half was just a case of the French having already won and just had to see the game out without getting injuries or suspensions.

Makes sense to bring in more highly skilled people from America and Asia.

I think he meant only negotiate with the UK whilst it is a member state, after we leave I expect it would be a different story.

There is a fundamental difference between us and Italy and Germany. They are good at playing football and we are not. We are not even close, the sooner we accept that and stop this 'England expects' nonsense the better. We have won one trophy, donkeys years ago last century when we had home advantage. Despite having way more professional clubs than anyone, the best facilities and the most money - even with all these advantages we havn't been anywhere near the best footballing nations. It doesn't matter what manager, setup or whatever, we are just not good at it.

Jarvis does come across well. All this talk of terminal decline is nonsense, in Milliband and Corbyn they have just had two unelectable leaders. There is still a future for a centre left party, I don't think Blair got a lot wrong except for his criminal decision to invade Iraq which I hope he goes down for.

That's the problem we are going to have, there is a disconnect between the democratic will of the people and the EU officials who are not really accountable and have their own agenda - keep the EU gravy train going at all costs. The lack of any negotiation means the UK government either has to grow a pair of balls and press the 50 button or try and go back on the refurendum result somehow. A general election with a clear mandate is one way I suppose. As leaving the EU would probably mean the break up of the UK maybe another refurendum 'do you want to be in the UK in the EU, or Split up out' would be a fair question. I doubt many who voted leave, voted for the break up of the UK.

**** me, if it's a choice between Teresa May and Jeremy Corbyn at the next election there's going to be some weird results!
-
They are bound to say that ahead of two years of negotiations, they are not exactly going to say 'yes, the UK will probably get what they want' are they? All politicians are full of ****.
-
If it's been perfectly clear them might as well activate article 50 and crack on with it. The people have made their choice, like you say perfectly clear.
-
I just don't get what he and his supporters are hoping to achieve. Are they really that detached from reality that they think he actually might get elected? Or do they just hate the Blairites so much they are willing to **** up the whole party, and even the country? Madness
-
Hope that's the last time we every see that fat Scouse **** in an England shirt.
-
The lack of movement off the ball is unbelievable. How do you expect to open any team up if you just stand there?
-
Rooney thinks all you need to do in midfield is walk around a bit and play the odd 40 yarder every now and again.
-
This is just embarrasing.
-
How the **** is Vardy still on the bench. This is so poor.
-
I dunno, I think if the EU refuse to negotiate a deal then the only way to stop the UK breaking up is to hold a general election. Then if the winning party's manefesto is stay in the EU you can say it's the democratic will. It all depends what sort of deal we can thrash out, some sort of Brexit Lite might appease the Jocks and it's not a problem but I can't see the Tories having the appetite for a complete divorce from Europe and the UK breaking apart.
-
I'm sorry but that's irrelivant. If the economic scare stories prove to be accurate how ****ing dumb will the conservative's decision to hold a referendum look? Dave calls a refurendum, then a few months later he is saying vote leave will be an economic disaster, cause World war three etc - why ****ing call one in the first place if that's what could happen?
-
Could quickly change if (big if) they sort out the Corbyn situation and position themselves centre left. This refurendum is 100% Tory in the making, their idea and mainly their people fighting it out. If it does wreck the economy it will be the biggest **** up in political history. They won't be able to say "you can't trust Labour with the economy" for a while.
