Well the club don't have to sell so if they let it drag on to the deadline then it is their own fault.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

Not sure that stuff that happened centuries ago is relevant. -
Agree that if we are going to sell we should do it now, not **** around waiting for the transfer window deadline. Give the manager a chance to spend the money.
-
Can't really blame Les Reed for any of this, players have too much power nowadays and the club is in a difficult position. It's not their fault that Van Dyke is a complete tosser. I would dig my heels in and keep him here. The press will have a spaz attack, Van Dyke will cry like a big baby for a while - a week after the transfer window shuts it will all be history and we will still have a fantastic centre back for another season.

Look hard enough and you will probably find extremes of any religion, none remotely on the same scale though. Must be a reason why Islam is so unique in being connected to the cause so much violence and death. -

Only seems to be a problem with one religion though. -
If they leave with a degree of bitterness it is a good sign IMO. Means the club are doing all they can to stop the move happening.
-
The club need to stay strong on this, let the **** sit on his arse for a few weeks, he will have no option to just get on with his job once the window closes. Let the big baby have his sulk, he will still be worth the same next summer.

I don't think it's OK that's why I think it is common sense to have another refurendum once the details of the deal are known.
-
Surely it doesn't matter, we've triggered article 50 so we're going to leave regardless of what deal our parliament agrees. They can't agree a deal then it's WTO rules.
-
How's pensions any different from any other benefit? We pay a proportion of our salary to the government to go towards the welfare state so that if you are unlucky enough to be made unemployed or are ill, injured, old etc there is a safety net that means you are looked after - they are all bloody well paid for.
-
Is there a limit to how bad the effects look before our politicians are allowed to use their common sense? Or is it follow the result regardless? The obvious thing is to hold a second refurendum when the details are clear on how bad or good a deal the Tories have managed to come up with. I'm not sure why so many are against the idea, if May comes up with a good deal then surely it will sail through a second refurendum, if she ****s it all up we have a get out.

How would you feel if no one left but we didn't sign anyone else?

I'd be happy with 4 if we traded Long in for someone who can actually score. If we go into the season as it is we will be way too reliant of Gabbi IMO. Austin is always injured, Long is not prolific enough and Gallagher is unproven at this level. Our scoring record was abysmal at he end of last season, it would be playing a dangerous game to go into the next season with a weaker forward line. -

Whatever way you cut it, if we don't replace Jay Rod we start this season weaker up front than last. And we struggled to score big time. -

He was already here. We could name players that are already here as replacements all day long, don't make the squad any better. -

He's already part of the same squad that couldn't hit a barn door last season. Not sure how that can be classed as a replacement. Who replaced Pelle then? -

Disappointed, we never seem to actually invest in the team, just replace players we've flogged with cheaper ones. I'm not surprised ST seals have not been great, I think a summer where we actually improve the squad would give everyone a bit of a lift. At the very least we need a replacement for Jay Rod. -
The original post I commented on you dumb ****.

Next time I see him I will ask. Meanwhile who he has dinner with means absolutely **** all.
-
The poster did not present any evidence, just the fact that they shared a dinner table. Maybe there is evidence, maybe there is not. **** me it's not rocket science.
-
I wouldn't have a clue what Corbyn's views on Kosovo are but having a meal with someone doesn't mean you share their views. I have dined with people who have all sorts of ****ed up opinions. It means nothing.
-
"consorting happily with" "cosies up to" - you are worse than a tabloid journo. You mean he sat at the same table with the bloke and have absolutely no evidence that he agrees with th guy on those issues.

Other (non English) teams that are similar to Saints 'way' ?
aintforever replied to eddie's topic in The Saints
I'm pretty sure we didn't invent developing young players and selling them on. All clubs that have to do it. -
That is poor. Not surprised though, we need to actually invest in the team, not just flog our best players and spend some of the cash on replacements.
