Redmond, Long, Jay Rod. How many non scoring strikers can we afford to have on the books? -

I don't get why we were so negative against a team whos defence can't get tested much in their own league. Their late goal was so predictable. We need to spend big on at least one decent striker in January. Jay Rod, Redmond, Long - none of these are going to contribute enough goals, I would get shot of any of them. -

When you flog your two top scorers and replace them with Redmond this is what you get. -

But surely Mays plans are irrelivant anyway because until article 50 is actioned we will not be able to negotiate so will not know what sort of deal we will get. May can just submit "we want control of immigration and be part of the single market" it gets approved and two years down the line we are out the EU with some other sort of deal. As far as I know article 50 is irreversible. So am I correct in thinking the following will probably happen: Step 1: May releases details of her plan "We have our cake and eat it" Step 2: Parliament discusses the plan - article 50 approved because "We have our cake and eat it" sounds like a good plan. Step 3: March 2017 - We invoke article 50 - we have left the EU Step 4: Negotiations begin - Eu say we can't have our cake and eat it - they have been watching our Parliament discuss it and know exactly what sort of ****ty deal they can get away with. Step 5: March 2019 - We start life outside the EU with a deal that doesn't resemble having a cake and eating it (WTO rules) meaning Step 1 and 2 is pointless and counter-productive.

Is there any point in that court case? Our MPs have just voted in favour of starting Brexit in March with a massive majority siding with the will of the British people.
-
Can't see that happening. The chances of all of the EU states agreeing to anything that seems like a half decent deal for the UK seems pretty remote. Impossible if we have to show our hand in Parliament before the cards are even dealt. It's going to be hard Brexit and to be honest, the more I hear from Brussels the more I think that is the best deal. All these people are interested in is their project/gravy train - they show little concern about what the actual people of Europe want and its just a matter of time before the truth catches up with them.
-
The vote was crystal clear, to leave the EU. How it ends up is anyone's guess but we will not find out until we start the process. No one knows what our future inside the EU would have looked like so it is pointless moaning about every little detail.

Fact is as long as we're in the Europa cup, and with the added League cup games, we're going to have inconsistent league form. Thursday is way more important than yesterday's game. We simply dont have the squad to compete in all the comps, A few of us said on here pre season that we needed more strength in depth.

Love seeing Liverpool lose, can't stand that grinning idiot-faced mong Klopp.
-
Given that you can't do anything about 1,2 and 3 and there are already controls on 4, best stop hundreds of thousands turning up from Europe then. It's so easy to dismiss the problems caused by immigration if you are not directly effected. the more people try to make out that mass uncontrolled immigration doesn't effect housing prices the more the people effected want to say "**** you I'm out" regardless of the other negatives associated with Bexit. There is nothing worse than being ignored.

Yeah great Remainer solution, just build four million new homes, simple! Fact is the current level of imigration is going to cause a housing problem, it's simple supply and demand. Great for people like me with a nice detached house and **** loads of equity, not so great for people on low wages trapped in rental.

What a surprise, Verbal's banging on about Jews again.

Nothing wrong with a bit of booing.

I know it must be comforting for you to make out all Brexiters are right wing but fact is it was the Labour heartlands that voted on mass to leave. You are just like those Labour MPs in Westminster - completely out of touch with the people you are supposedly standing up for.

I expect it was the lies of the Remain campaign's project fear that tipped him over the edge. Apparently he had a Remain leaflet on him when he did it, obviously a contributing factor.
-
But if we are going to change things for the better there has to be a period of uncertainty. They are just going to have to deal with it. The sooner we just crack on the better.
-
Not much you can do about the uncertainty, especially with all the remoaners predicting the end of the world.
