  1. So you think that prior to a show the BBC should decide who is right then give them more airtime. And it is unfair to give them the same airtime and let the quality of the debate and the person decide who is right. Fairness remoaner style.
  2. And you think both arguments carried the same weight because of the amount of air time? Seriously? I get virtually all of my news via the BBC - radio 5 in the car, 2 at work and the website and tv at home. I rarely bother with newspapers. The possible negative effects of Brexit on the economy were made crystal clear, over and over again.
  3. So by giving equal time they favoured leave. **** me I have heard it all now.
  4. We can't imprison anyone for their beliefs but maybe more could be done to monitor or prosecute people who pose an obvious terrorist threat? More resources and powers for the police maybe.
  5. Why can't you just be honest? Some parts of the media are obviously pro Brexit, I have no problem admitting that, the BBC clearly has a pro remain stance. Just because you remoaners lost, get over it.
  6. If it is that guy then serious questions need to be asked, because he appears to be well known for his extremism.
  7. The BBCs pro remain stance was obvious to me both before and after the result.
  8. I certainly am not going to shed a tear for the death of a murderer but I'm also not going to dance on his grave because the British governments over the years have been guilty of causing much of the troubles in Northern Ireland. The Catholics in NI did have fair cause for grievance. I would never claim to know enough about what went on, unless you were there and saw what happened first hand I don't think you can really judge either way. From what I have read though the IRA were just a bunch of murdering gangsters, despised by much of the peaceful Catholic population as well as Protestant. Kids getting knee-capped, people living in fear etc. I think Tebbit is probably spot on about the reasons for him turning 'peaceful'.
  9. Nonsense. While they shouldn't have hired him he should know better than anyone what his strengths were. Taking the cash for the job while knowing he was sh*t at people was very dishonest IMO.
  10. You might see trees and wood. Round here you will be lucky to see many with all these new housing developments ripping the **** out of the beautiful countryside surrounding the village I live. Desperately trying to meet the demand for housing in this Remainer's paradise of mass uncontrolled immigration.
  11. I don't have a problem with Scotland or NI doing their own thing.

    Budget

Old people and their massive final salary pensions are the biggest drain. My Nan's generation were respected because they won the war, the next generation are just going to be remembered as the people who wracked up the debt and ****ed up the environment. By the time I'm old I expect We will be forced to work until we are 70, be on a breadline pension until 75 then compulsory death to save on medical bills.
  13. So what you are saying is that as part of the EU our economy recently has been sh*t.

    TV Tax

Because I think it's important to have a public broadcasting service.

    TV Tax

I agree with it, the BBC website is the best thing on the web by a mile and it's good to have a TV channel free of advertising. IMO it's vital to keep something out of the hands of advertisers, especially in this era of fake news.
  16. I didn't have a clue what it was about so I'm not sure why Neville should and you can't really blame the Mancs reaction.
  17. There is always these sort of problems when you get such a mix of fans. the club should recommend a few blocks for the Northam fans and another for people who want to be boring and sit quietly the whole game, and leave the rest for the vast majority who don't give a **** - I think other clubs do it. Stops these problems and creates a better atmosphere.
  18. I used to get the nowtv pass, I thought it was worth it because I don't have the spare time to watch much TV. Now Kodi rules.
  19. looks like previous governments have ****ed up but that's all history now and irrelivant.
  20. When article 50 is activated there is two years to do a deal or it's hard Brexit. Do you really think all the EU countries will agree on anything resembling a half decent deal for Britain in that timescale?
  21. ****ing bonkers, the World has officially gone mad.
  22. Well it's obviously an issue because the country are happy to take the economic leap in the dark to do something about it. To be honest it doesn't effect my daily life in the slightest but it doesn't take a huge amount of empathy to understand why some people see it as an issue.
  23. Immigration was irrelivant because all three parties knew that they would have no control anyway so it was just swept under the carpet. If it was something that effected you, you had no vote, if you brought the subject up you were a racist - hence the refurendum result.
  24. Of course immigration is just one issue, same can be said for every other issue that a government controls. Everyone votes for different reasons, if mass uncontrolled immigration is causing people problems then it will become a more important factor when voting. **** me it's not rocket science. The Tories won the last election despite Cameron's bull**** targets because Immigration was not an issue because whoever won would have zero control on EU numbers anyway. If immigration was your main gripe then there was no point even voting.
  25. Yep, pretty much as expected.
