  1. Well chances of getting any sort of deal have now gone from slim to zero. Mad May doesn't seem to realise that the people she is picking a fight with are the ones who hold all the cards, they will just stick together and make a point of Brexit being as painful as possible to the UK.
  2. Would be harsh to sack him IMO. A Europa League campaign was always going to effect the league form unless we invested in the squad and he achieved what Pochettino and Koeman couldn't and got us to a major cup final. Deserves another season.
  3. That's what the stats show because politicians can lower the tax rate when the economy is going well. I understand the Laffer Curve theory but think there can still be more money paid in by the higher earners. From what I can see this austerity has only really effected the lower incomes - me and my other half are both above average earners and the last few years of 'austerity' has been a piece of ****. Low inflation plus low interest rates means if you are lucky enough to have a decent job and own you own home you have more than enough disposable income while many are struggling, services are being run down and people carrying out the important work (carers, nurses etc) have had a real decrease in wages. I actually tend to side more with the Tories stance over benefit fraud and getting people out of the unemployment trap but can never support how they treat the most vulnerable of society and figures on a spreadsheet. I would much rather have a bit of wastage and actually care for those that need it.
  4. I don't get this obsession with people on benefits, from what I can see they generally live a pretty miserable existence - I just feel sorry for them. People who cheat the system I despise but that applies to wealthy tax avoiders as muck as benefit fraudsters. You moan about paying tax but fact is any one of us might at some point end up needing a the same safety net. I agree that Labour got the balance a bit wrong but I prefer that to the uncaring approach of the Tories.
  5. They could always try running the club like an actual company and make some money to pay for it?
  6. As I said before, there is not a cat in hells chance of a deal being done in two years, might as well just start preparing for WTO rules.
  7. 8. So, conservatives are way more likely to want Brexit so the more we have in Parliament the softer the Brexit. OK, that makes sense. All these Tories supported Brexit apparently: Iain Duncan Smith, Michael Gove, Chris Grayling, Theresa Villiers, John Whittingdale, James Duddridge, George Eustice, Mark Francois, Andrea Leadsom, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab, James Wharton, Penny Mordaunt, Julian Brazier, Mike Penning, Desmond Swayne, Justin Tomlinson, Nigel Adams, Adam Afriyie, Lucy Allan, David Amess, Stuart Andrew, Richard Bacon, Steve Baker, John Baron, Bob Blackman, Victoria Borwick, Graham Brady, Andrew Bridgen, Fiona Bruce, Peter Bone, Conor Burns, David Burrowes, William Cash, Maria Caulfield, Christopher Chope, James Cleverly, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, Geoffrey Cox, Chris Davies, David Davies, James Davies, Mims Davies, Philip Davies, David Davis, Nadine Dorries, Steve Double, Richard Drax, Nigel Evans, Michael Fabricant, Marcus Fysh, Liam Fox, Richard Fuller, Nusrat Ghani, Zac Goldsmith, Cheryl Gillan, James Gray, Chris Green,Rebecca Harris, Gordon Henderson, Chris Heaton-Harris, Philip Hollobone, Adam Holloway, Kris Hopkins, Gerald Howarth, Stewart Jackson, Ranil Jayawardena, Bernard Jenkin, Andrea Jenkyns, Boris Johnson, Jonathan Lord, Gareth Johnson, David Jones, Daniel Kawczynski, Greg Knight, Kwasi Kwarteng, Edward Leigh, Jack Lopresti, Peter Lilley, Julian Lewis, Tim Loughton, Karen Lumley, Jason McCartney, Karl McCartney, Stephen McPartland, Stephen Phillips, Craig Mackinlay, Anne Main, Scott Mann, Anne Marie Morris, Sheryll Murray, Andrew Murrison, David Nuttall, Owen Paterson, Andrew Percy, Tom Pursglove, Will Quince, John Redwood, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Laurence Robertson, Andrew Rosindell, Paul Scully, Henry Smith, Royston Smith, Andrew Stephenson, Iain Stewart, Robert Syms, Kelly Tolhurst, Michael Tomlinson, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, Rishi Sunak, Andrew Turner, Craig Tracey, Martin Vickers, Charles Walker, David Warburton, Heather Wheeler, Bill Wiggin, William Wragg, Nadhim Zahawi, Stephen Barclay, Henry Bellingham, Andrew Bingham, Suella Fernandes, Nigel Mills, Matthew Offord, Julian Sturdy, Derek Thomas, Mike Wood, Kit Malthouse, John Hayes, Crispin Blunt, Rehman Chishti, Glyn Davies, Paul Maynard, Christopher Pincher, Eleanor Laing, Pauline Latham, Charlotte Leslie, Ian Liddell-Grainger, Bob Stewart, Caroline Ansell. 9. You do understand that Tories are more pro Brexit than the other MPs right? labour, Lib Dem and SNP are way way more likely to favour a softer Brexit - how is that a difficult concept to grasp?
  10. Wasn't it 130 odd Tories to Labour's 10 or so backing Brexit? The Lib Dems and SNP all remain. Yeah, clearly it's more Tories we want for a softer Brexit.
  11. Clearly you did.
  12. Can't remember being that bored watching a game of football before. Bunch of overpaid ******s already on their holidays.
  13. I don't get that, the Tories are most pro Brexit so surely more Tories mean harder brexit?
  14. An open top bus parade for being 4 points sh!tter than Doncaster Rovers in the fourth tier - wow!
  15. The only reason there have not been many more mass murders here in the UK is because of our very good security services - I doubt they come cheap. Plus there is a cost to our society when we have to divert much needed police resources to try and deal with the threat of bearded lunatics.
  16. nuclear war LOL
  17. The one positive about this whole mess is the fact that after the GE this Brexit will be a 100% Tory Brexit. If it goes bad they will get destroyed at the next election.
  18. Became he didn't want to answer a stupid question?
  19. It's the most pointless, uninteresting election in my life-time. It's just a case of how many of the opposition seats get wiped out. The only interesting thing will be how Scotland reacts to the inevitable Tory landslide - them leaving the UK will probably be inevitable if the whole of England is blue, they are all SNP and being dragged out of Europe.
  20. Instead of scratching your head why do you try reading your own link: “It’s a ridiculous thing to suggest. Jeremy tweeted immediately after he voted that he voted to remain so the matter is already public."
  21. It's ****ing bonkers to think Russia would try to invade Britain, with or without nukes.
  22. It is arrogance though, the British people have had concerns over immigration for some time now and as members of a supposedly democratic EU we should have been listened to. Other countries are having the same issues, if the people are just ignored for the sake of some political project there will be more problems ahead (rise of the far right in France for example). For the life of me I don't see why they have to stick dogmatically to the 'free movement' thing, not sure why any other country should have issues with us wanting some control, it's a basic right of any country.
  23. Looks like the more Corbyn campaigns the more unpopular he gets. I actually hope it's a complete landslide now, just to push what's left of Labour intonsorting their **** out.
  24. The votes of people that dumb shouldn't count anyway.
  25. They obviously can't do a deal but they need to present some sort of detailed, palatable alternative to the Conservatives hard Brexit, some sort of deal that the EU can say might be a goer. The alternative is WTO rules, and after a Tory landslide the division between England and Scotland will be so big the end of the UK will be inevitable.
