  1. Only seems to be a problem with one religion though.
  2. If they leave with a degree of bitterness it is a good sign IMO. Means the club are doing all they can to stop the move happening.
  3. The club need to stay strong on this, let the **** sit on his arse for a few weeks, he will have no option to just get on with his job once the window closes. Let the big baby have his sulk, he will still be worth the same next summer.
  4. I don't think it's OK that's why I think it is common sense to have another refurendum once the details of the deal are known.
  5. Surely it doesn't matter, we've triggered article 50 so we're going to leave regardless of what deal our parliament agrees. They can't agree a deal then it's WTO rules.
  6. How's pensions any different from any other benefit? We pay a proportion of our salary to the government to go towards the welfare state so that if you are unlucky enough to be made unemployed or are ill, injured, old etc there is a safety net that means you are looked after - they are all bloody well paid for.
  7. Is there a limit to how bad the effects look before our politicians are allowed to use their common sense? Or is it follow the result regardless? The obvious thing is to hold a second refurendum when the details are clear on how bad or good a deal the Tories have managed to come up with. I'm not sure why so many are against the idea, if May comes up with a good deal then surely it will sail through a second refurendum, if she ****s it all up we have a get out.
  8. I'd be happy with 4 if we traded Long in for someone who can actually score. If we go into the season as it is we will be way too reliant of Gabbi IMO. Austin is always injured, Long is not prolific enough and Gallagher is unproven at this level. Our scoring record was abysmal at he end of last season, it would be playing a dangerous game to go into the next season with a weaker forward line.
  9. .................Forster...................... Cedric...VvD...Yoshida...Bertrand. ...........JWP......Romeu................. Tadic..........Davis..........Redmond ...............Gabbiadini.................
  10. Whatever way you cut it, if we don't replace Jay Rod we start this season weaker up front than last. And we struggled to score big time.
  11. He was already here. We could name players that are already here as replacements all day long, don't make the squad any better.
  12. He's already part of the same squad that couldn't hit a barn door last season. Not sure how that can be classed as a replacement. Who replaced Pelle then?
  13. Disappointed, we never seem to actually invest in the team, just replace players we've flogged with cheaper ones. I'm not surprised ST seals have not been great, I think a summer where we actually improve the squad would give everyone a bit of a lift. At the very least we need a replacement for Jay Rod.
  14. The original post I commented on you dumb ****.
  15. Next time I see him I will ask. Meanwhile who he has dinner with means absolutely **** all.
  16. The poster did not present any evidence, just the fact that they shared a dinner table. Maybe there is evidence, maybe there is not. **** me it's not rocket science.
  17. I wouldn't have a clue what Corbyn's views on Kosovo are but having a meal with someone doesn't mean you share their views. I have dined with people who have all sorts of ****ed up opinions. It means nothing.
  18. "consorting happily with" "cosies up to" - you are worse than a tabloid journo. You mean he sat at the same table with the bloke and have absolutely no evidence that he agrees with th guy on those issues.
  19. I'm pretty sure we didn't invent developing young players and selling them on. All clubs that have to do it.
  20. That is poor. Not surprised though, we need to actually invest in the team, not just flog our best players and spend some of the cash on replacements.
  21. Agree but if Everton are struggling to get him we have no chance. I would be happy with 1 or 2 decent signings without actually flogging someone first - you know, some actual investment.
  22. The crazy thing is the vast majority of people did vote for non pro Brexit MPs it's just that since the refurendum the two main parties have adopted a policy of seeing through the refurendum result at any cost through fear of appearing undemocratic. I expect if the MPs were asked off the record the vast majority would want to bin the whole Brexit thing. I have always been leaning towards being pro Brexit but can't see the current government doing anything other than make a complete mess of it. The logical thing is to have a second vote when we know the two options - at the moment it is like watching a slow-motion car crash.
  23. I think you would naturally feel a bit guilty even if you were not to blame. Why the fire started is not the issue, there will always be fires in properties - it's why it spread so fast throughout the block and killed so many that is criminal.
  24. Probably true, if my fridge blew up and caused that carnage I would lie low for a bit.
  25. Not sure what 'bottle' has got to do with it, I guess somewhere in your weird world that makes sense. But yes, if I am undecided I see little point in voting.
