  1. Had the same issue with my little one. Weird thing is I was tempted to go through with it because it is just the norm but I'm glad I didn't. I will leave it up to her to decide what religion/fairytales she wants to believe in.
  2. That's why I didn't get married in a church, it would have been hypocritical. You can get married almost anywhere nowadays.
  3. Agree with what you say except marriage is nothing to do with religion, there wasn't one mention of God, Jesus or any other fairytale creatures in my wedding.
  4. What like making kids go to church, or dragging a boy to Fratton Park to watch **** football? Children have always been pushed in certain directions, just because those guys are different to you doesn't make them wrong.
  5. It doesn't say they gave their child hrt - or did I miss that?
  6. Live and let live, as long as the kid is happy it's not a problem.
  7. I dunno, I think a large proportion would gladly see the back of him but 99% is very optimistic. I think you underestimate the power of state propaganda. I expect most just don't know how poor their standard of living is compared to the rest of the World and those that are suffering will just blame the US and the sanctions. Plus with these sort of dictatorships there is always a percentage that side with the leader, not matter how appalling, because it feathers their nest. Also there is the history of Korea and their suffering from Americas bombs and their leader being their saviour which will shape their thinking. IF the Yanks star a war there it's going to be a right mess, the Chinese are the only people who can intervene IMO.
  8. The only reason anyone spends stupid money on a watch is to show off. Unless they are an astronaut or deep sea diver.
  9. This. There is not a chance in hell of any sort of deal. Might as well just get on preparing for WTO rules on March 2019.
  10. The latest negotiations seem to have gone the same way as all the others so far. Tory bloke comes out saying how well it went and progress is being made, EU bloke comes out saying nothing has been sorted and we're not moving forward. Not a chance in hell of a deal being done, looks to me like the EU are offing nothing and the Tories are in a flap trying to figure out how to make WTO rules work.
  11. Scores for his country and still has a face like a bulldog chewing on a wasp.
  12. Henderson & Livermore - has there ever been a worse central midfield for England?
  13. Happy with the signings but the lack of goals is our major problem and hasn't been addressed. Keeping Virgil seems like a victory at the moment but if he refuses to play or plays **** up until January we may have done ourselves out of a few quid and chance to solve our scoring problem. The problem we have with Virgil is motivation, he knows if he puts in amazing performances for us his value goes up and it makes his move harder - he's almost better off playing ****.
  14. Keep posting, they are just jealous ****s.
  15. I don't disagree with your analysis of the sanctions in Iraq, I have read enough first hand accounts of the Iraq war to known how Saddam benefitted from the black market whilst the population suffered - and I don't absolve his blame for that. But fact is sanctions led to much suffering and deaths of innocent Iraqis, as in NK it is always the people who suffer, never those at the top.
  16. Same as Scneiderlin and Wanyama.
  17. Van Dyke made it crystal clear in his statement that he wasn't refusing to play or train. A week after the deadline closes this will all be forgotten, just as it was with Schneiderlin and Wanyama.
  18. Na, he would be better off making threats and playing war games of their coast - that's gonna cool things down.
  19. I can't see any other option but dialogue. Sanctions are not working, it's just a matter of time before NK have nukes wether the US like it or not.
  20. Of course it's not nonsensical, if the US are trying to provoke a reaction from NK to legitimise regime change then they are going about it the right way - crippling sanctions (which won't harm the leaders, only the people - like Iraq) and military provocation. Kim Jong-un is a nasty piece of work but I can't see what he has to gain by starting a war - like most dictators he is only interested in keeping hold of power and feathering his own nest. He has too much to lose by starting a war because he knows he will be finished and NK will end up as rubble. The danger comes when he has nothing to lose. If the US's only concern is peace I fail to see the logic of military exercises on NK's doorstep at a time when tensions are so high - that's where I agree totally with China and Russia's stance.
  21. Sanctions and force - learn to read. The Chinese don't seem to think the yanks military activity in the region are a great idea. Considering the temperament of the people in charge of NK, and the current delecate position, surely military **** waving by the yanks is the last thing the region needs.
  22. Why do these arrogant ****s think we will "invite discussions"? We've already said we don't want to sell, can they not ****ing read. If they just put a bid in I would have a bit more respect for the victims but all this tapping up and waiting for us to invite discussions really gets on my tits.
  23. No, very different scenario.
  24. Hopefully this paves the way for an attacking midfielder signing.
  25. China along with Russia said US military activity in the region was partly to blame for the increase in tensions, and urged negotiations.
