Great, we always seem to lose after one of Reed's masturbatory articles.
-
I don't doubt that, I'm sure in this nutter's head he was doing it for some political cause. Whatever the cause was is pretty irrelevant tho IMO. Wether it was a Labour voter killing a Tory, Tory killing Labour - it means absolutely jack **** and it is a disgusting thing to use that poor woman's death as a political football. Sadly it's the sort of thing I would expect from you.
-
You are a bit dim if you can't see that this tragic murder is nothing more than the actions of some deranged nut job. Anyone who tries to blame Brexit has issues - we all know Verbal has plenty.
-
The bloke was just a nazi nut job. Trying to blame Brexit is just laughably dim. Maybe we should just ban politics, just in case there is a politically motivated murder somewhere? ****ing idiot.
-
I reckon some murderers voted remain too.
-
The nature of globalisation means our governments are having less and less power so I guess it's going to take something extreme to make a difference. You just have to look at what has happened after the bank bailouts to see how completely inept our current system is. I don't agree with much Trump stands for but applaud the fact that there is someone there who might shake things up a bit.
-
Certainly works better than just; • ignoring the fact that people are feeling hard done • pretending that immigration has no effect on their lives and they are just racist • Tell them everything is great as it is
-
Do you really think a racist nut job like Trump would have won if there were not huge amounts of ****ed off people? Some of the rust belt States havn't voted republican since the 80's. Brand was spot on, they voted Trump because they wanted change and overlooked his obvious flaws.
-
Those stats still don't mean that more working class who usually vote democrat decided to vote republican in the rust belt areas.
-
Those stats don't prove anything. I expect the Republican candidate will always have a high percentage of high earners as voters - that doesn't mean that ****ed off working class in certain states didn't swing it to Trump. A bit like how the usual swivel-eyed Tories backed Brexit but it was the votes from the usual Labour voting areas which really made the difference.
-
Brand is spot on as usual. In the US, like here with Brexit, if people feel they have nothing to lose then might as well just roll the dice. The remoaners should watch this.
-
Don't be such a pussy, he's not going to launch nukes. He's a bit of an idiot with a **** haircut, not a mass murdering maniac. I don't agree with many of his policies, but as in Brexit, I applaud the Yanks for telling the establishment to go do one.
-
****ing hilarious.
-
Well it's a completely pointless exercise then. But like trying to haggle for a good deal down the market when the seller knows exactly what you are willing to pay. The EU will just insist it's hard Brexit or nothing knowing full well it won't get through parliament.
-
So does the government have to get invoking A50 approved by parliament then get the final deal approved as well? If that's the case they might as well just forget the whole thing because the EU will know if they don't budge an inch the deal won't get approved.
-
It doesn't matter how long you bang on about stats it doesn't alter the fact that more people in the UK voted to leave than stay in the EU. Hard or soft, inflation or no inflation - the UK people just don't want to be in the EU.
-
What a load of ******. The UK decided to leave the EU, the decision was crystal clear. Stop crying like a big baby just because you lost.
-
Not sure how that would work. Once the A50 button has been pressed the leave process is set in motion and we may have no choice but hard Brexit depending on how negotiations go with the nobheads at the EU.
-
What a farce. I expect it will end up with us having a general election. So it could be a straight choice between having May as PM out of the EU or stay in EU with Corbyn as PM. LOL
-
We have great owners so I would rather stick with them if I had a choice. But we don't so am happy to have new chinese owners if that's what happens. Some people ****ed their pants when Cortese left and that turned out to be great for the club so best just wait and see.
-
No reason why we can't help both.
-
I'd rather help those as well. Feel free to wet the bed tho
-
Those wetting their pants because a few looked over 18 don't seem to be that keen on helping.
-
To be fair we started an illegal war that created the Iraq/Syria vacume that IS took advantage of. Then we encouraged the people of Syria to overthrow Assad. It wasn't for Milliband we would have been bombing the **** out of Assad at a time when IS we're on the rampage. Then there is Libya where we also helped create chaos then stood by and watched as it went to the dogs. Taking in a few refugees is the least we can do
-
You brought up the Dublin convention first, I just used the definition under international law. A refugee is still a refugee if they don't register at the first available safe country. Economic migrants - they are the hundreds of thousands of mainly white people who rock up from Europe every year that no one gets quite so worked up about.
