It would be interesting to know what amount of money we had available. I remember listening to Koeman on Radio Solent in January saying he didn't think we needed backup for Pelle because we already had good young players at the club.

It's not an either or thing though is it. Immigration is a big issue to people in certain areas because it effects them more than others. It has effected me personally because my mrs had to go through unnecessary pain thanks to an overstretched NHS whilst giving birth to my daughter. We were palmed off with useless students whist the place was packed with Polish and Romanians making full use of the service I have paid for with my tax. It has effected me more than the state of the FTSE.

I agree that it was disappointing he chose to dive but the Liverpool defender did grab his shoulder - that's more than enough to get a penalty at Anfield/Old Trafford etc.

I think with Chelsea an Spurs in the League cup final 6th place gets Europa and if ManUtd, Arsenal or Liverpool win the FA Cup 7th place gets it. Though no one seems to know for sure. God knows what will happen in Chelsea win the Champions League and Spurs the Europa as well.

The worst ref I have ever seen. We need Davis to play in his best position, he makes the team tick. Djuricic and Elia are just not good enough. Yet again we are suffering from not getting backup for Pelle in the transfer window. Our lack of ambition has maybe cost us a CL place.

I lived in North London, around Enfield, Wood Green and Palmers Green areas and there always seemed to be tension between the asian and black gangs and the local whites. Never really thought it was that bad whilst I was a student but after I graduated had to get a few dead-end jobs to pay the rent and saw loads of racism amongst the guys I worked with, particularly when in Enfield.
