It's the SNP that won it for them, along with Labour's ridiculous choice of leader and lurch to the left. I'm more left than right but bu the thought of those Scottish c*nts having power at Westminster was off-putting, the Tories played it very well. Will be interesting to see if the UK survives though. Scotland and England are now polar opposites, doesn't seem to make sense keeping it together.

Their whole message was pretty weak to be fair. I mean, who really gives that much of a **** about zero hours contracts? Save the NHS - heard it all before.
-
Labour need to sort their sh!t out and actually put a proper leader in place. You don't need to be a genius to know you can't expect a cartoon character who can't even speak properly to be elected Prime Minister. As for Ed Balls, he reminds me of that fat kid at school who used to p!ss his pants and bark on command. The only good thing to come out of this election is the Scots being shafted. The SNP will be completely powerless, the idiots that voted for them have just voted for more extreme Tory cuts.

The opinion polls were miles out if this exit poll is right

Thought the Tories would increase their seats
-
This. The fact that a left wing version of the Labour party lead by a cartoon character combined with a looney left bunch of sweaties have even an outside chance of winning says all you need to know about the Tories.
-
The polls have been wrong before, it would be interesting to see how they get their figures. I can see the Tories increasing their number of seats but the Lib Dems being almost wiped out so I dunno what sort of government there will be.
-
What, the point of view that parliament should actually reflect the will of the voters?
-
That's exactly what the SNP want. A Tory England and SNP dominated Scotland would be way more divisive IMO, England almost all right wing, Scotland far left, you might as well just split the UK up along the natural border.

Does the same apply to English same sex schools?
-
So should Labour refuse to hold a meeting if one of the audience is wearing a burka?
-
I just think it's a bit weird and backward. It appears Labour held the event in an Islamic community centre, if they wanted it segregated I don't see anything wrong with Labour letting them, it's their centre.
-
I agree, but having men sit one side, women the other is not discriminating against anyone.
-
**** funny isn't it. If a bunch of Muslims want to sit men on one side, women on the other who gives a sh!t? Just shows how retarded Islam is.
-
Pearson was a bit of a **** but who cares, a sports reporter felt a bit uncomfortable, big ****ing deal. The amount of sh!t they write they deserve all they get. I've only ever sat in a few post match press conferences but have seen what idiots these Journos can be, you will find a lot worse has been said in the ones that are not televised.
-
Yes I agree but the Tories have traditionally been even more opposed to bank regulation, who knows how bad we would have been effected if they were in government.
-
I can see the Tories winning because they are getting their message over better than Labour, they have managed to turn a global financial crisis into "labour left us broke again" and it will work. I was frustrated by Millibands poor performance last night when questioned about the economy, he should have highlighted the fact that it was the uncontrolled capitalism that got the world into the mess and under the Tories the crash could have been more severe. He also should have highlighted the good the last Labour government did before the crash, except he looked like he didn't have an answer. Thatcher could always turn a question around to make her seem right even when she was obviously wrong, Milliband couldn't do that. Same for Nick Clegg, instead of apologising for making a mistake about tuition fees, he should have blamed the Tories for the policy.

I like Pearson, some Journos are just ***ts and deserve to be treated as such.

Close season 2017, playing devil's advocate
aintforever replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I heard Howe was almost hired when we hired Adkins, didn't want the job because Cortese wouldn't give him full control of football matters. From quite a good source. -
I don't think that really matters, there has to be at least one particular issue you have an stronger opinion about or effects you. there is no party that represents me but I will always make sure I vote. I agree with with some policies of probably all the parties. I agree with UKIP on immigration, the Greens on Trident, closer to Labour on taxation and agree with the Tories stance on benefit scroungers. But I tend to vote Libral Democrat because they are the only major party that take the environment seriously and where I live it's a straight fight between them and the Tories. Russel Brand has a point about big business holding all the power but still think it's worth voting, even if it only makes a little difference.

LOL, or the more right wing don't think you are an irritating asshole.

As above, you have to do Yosemite. If you do I would recommend staying at the Ahwahnee Hotel which is bang in the middle of the park. The only other option in the park itself is the lodge which is basic and Curry Village which looked awful. Mariposa Grove on the way into Yosemite has some amazing sequoias. San Fran - we only had time to do the usual touristy stuff but Alcatraz was very good.

He supported the action but not leaving them alone to clear up the mess afterwards. Cameron deserved all he got for that after flying out there and giving that speech about standing shoulder to shoulder with the Libyan people etc. He did that to make himself look a like a hero yet he left the country to tear itself apart.

It's irrelevant to their fans - that is the point I was making. They have spent years watching sh!te, gone bust more times than I can remember and 6 years ago were very nearly non-league. In that respect it is a footballing fairy tale. Did the fact that we were bankrolled by the Leibherrs make our success any less exciting, no.
-
There are plenty of teams in that league with money, what Bournemouth have done is outstanding. Wether the owners are loaded or not is irrelevant, is still a fairy tale for their fans who have had to put up with all sorts of sh!te over the years and only 6 years ago were staring non-league in the face.
