Weird that Coral and William Hill gives odds of 11/2 on something that is impossible. It's almost as if they understand that political landscapes can change or something crazy like that.

Probably never would be correct, unless you can see into the future.

The EU immigration problem could be a game changer for this referendum. It's no longer just about the effects of Mass immigration from Poland etc, but also an issue of national security. If these migrants in Germany can just wait a year or two to get their EU passport They are effectively our problem now, unless we just leave the EU. -
it's very very unlikely that he will be PM, you can only really say never if you have a crystal ball or if you are some sad nobhead trying to start a pointless argument on an Internet forum.

I'm sorry but whilst I don't agree with his views talking about an OTT response to a potential security threat cannot be classed as a hate crime. These internet poll things are not democracy, they interview one person on the radio who voted and they said they didn't even want him banned, just wanted the subject bringing up! They are just a magnet for weirdos and people who want to shout down everyone else with their extreme views.

I don't think anyone thinks he will win the next election or has even said they think he will so you are wasting your time banging on about it.
-
Exactly, the blokes an idiot. Every time he opens his mouth he just makes things worse for himself. Scrapping Trident makes sense, but having Trident without Nukes is just nonsense.

This migrant crisis will be a big boost for the out campaign.

A steal at £4mill, great deal.

I said we should help, not Germany. -
Exactly, when he's old and ****e he might fancy a couple of seasons in the Premier League so you never know.
-
I have never said I thought he would be prime minister - you should learn to read.
-
I don't think he will, but you never know what is around the corner. If there is another, bigger financial collapse then I can see a swing to the left.
-
You don't know that for sure.

The migrants arriving in Europe obviously causes problems but they pale into insignificance compared with the problems the normal decent people in Syria and Iraq face, partly thanks to what our country has done. German women having their arses groped is not good but in Syria thousands have had the face the choice of fleeing their homes or face living under the control of a psychopathic death cult and get bombed by various armies. The least we should do is help them even if it effects our cushty lives a little bit. -
Get in!

This guy must have a ****ing good agent. -
No you wouldn't, we would have been the same ball.

I don't think sliding towards relegation was part of our business model though.

Can't see Corbyn hanging around that long somehow. My point is it is all about perceptions, at least now when David Milliband or someone similar takes over with a half decent team it might appear like a fresh, more electable Labour - not just another bunch of career politicians (which is how it would have been perceived had the current clowns not taken charge). That's assuming Labour can elect someone half decent, which is a big assumption.
-
Blair would never get re-ected purely because the mess he has made of the Middle East with his illegal war, they are the only chickens coming home to roost. The idea that New Labour was dead and buried because of the last election defeat and the party had to go in a different direction nonsense IMO. Labour lost because they had an unelectable leader and just happened to be in power when the global crash hit. A similar Blair style Labour could easily win again, especially if the Tories are in power when the next crash hits. In a way this period with Corbyn in charge could prove to be a good watershed for Labour.
-
Yes, but that has little to do with how electable they are. The largest effects of the last labour government was caused by the global crash. Whoever was in charge at that time would be easily blamed by their opposition and have the **** kicked out of them by the electorate.
-
Except I don't think it was Blairite policies which the country rejected, it was just Milliband was unelectable and Labour just happened to be in power when the global crash happened. It's not hard for Cameron to look the best bet for PM when the opposition oversaw the disaster and their leader is a cartoon character with a speech defect. A cente left, Blair style Labour is the only Labour that would get into power IMO.

Relegation is a serious threat, we need to invest some money this window.
