Don't disagree, but that's very different to it being government policy.

I hope he gets off, for the greater good.

No, but most Muslim states appear to be openly racist against Jewish people, and hostile towards non-Muslims.
-
Nice weather and tax free earnings is great but I would prefer to be near my friends and family. I suppose it depends what you value in life, each to their own. I also don't like how these Muslim countries are often openly racist, homophobic and sexist. They make the BNP look like a intolerant bunch.

Southampton's town planning is shockingly bad, it's as if it's been designed by a 12 year old playing Sim City 2.0 who got bored half way through and decided to f*ck it all up on purpose. Easily the biggest USP of the city is it's cruise liners and marine heritage yet there is nowhere where you can enjoy either. Ocean Village is a mess, Leisure World is an eyesore and this new Titanic museum will be sh!te. Probably some idiot trying to justify spending millions on a pointless new police station by sticking a museum where the old one was. Any Titanic museum should obviously be part of a major waterfront development, some sort of focal point to give the place an identity.
-
Sounds like a sh!te hole to me.

The thought of players like Terry, Lumpard and Rooney representing our country at the Euros again is just depressing. I think I will actually enjoy watching them get d!cked this time around, at least then there is a good chance of the next manager giving them the bullet.
-
The aim of the academy is to make good players to make a good team. It bugs me that some fans still think like Rupert Lowe. Cortese himself said he was gutted when we sold Chambo, so was I. It annoyed me reading the mongs on here celebrating getting the money.
-
Hope the fat chav c*nt gets a 3 game ban.
-
He will be better than Walcott.

Of course they have to draw a line, that's my point. Making money from a shopping plaza is no different to making money from drilling for oil. You either take into account just football income or you dont.
-
Exactly, Man City will say the same when their oil drilling department finances some big signings. Basically every single club can pay whatever they want rendering the whole idea pointless.
-
Surely the fair play rules must just include football income, otherwise all Man City have to do is put one of their oil companies under their name and carry on as usual.
-
He's a c*nt but I think he would make a good England boss.

I think it would. The British public are generally quite stupid, the AV was clearly a fairer option, a couple of flash ads with race horses in - bingo, game over. Apart from the Clegg factor the reason AV lost was because of the self serving @rseholes of the Tory and Labour party desperately in fear of their safe seats, the public just went along with what their favourite @rsehole said.
-
I'm usually up for getting out of the EU but I think if we opted out now it would send the whole thing into a tailspin which wouldn't be good for us.
-
Pompey have had 15 more yellow cards than goals scored.
-
Or as in the AV vote, if Clegg says yes, the British public says no.
-
The dross we watched under Gray and Wigley was part of the Sky years but that's irrelevant, I wasn't talking about a particular managers style more the matchday experience.
-
Still not as good as the previous lot. That fat guy in the Northam used to be lightning quick.
-
Handjobs, tenner a go
-
It probably wasn't but you get my point. Football today is cr@p, expensive and boring in comparison to the pre-Sky years.
-
Hopefully all the pubs that have been fined over the last decade or so can now sue Sky for compo and lost earnings etc. Personally I think Sky have ruined football, I couldn't give a toss about shiny new stadia or 100K a week foreign t@ssers. I preferred it when as a kid I could get into the Dell for £2 and watch Matt le Tiss take the p!ss out of the European Champions and be 2 yards away from the action. You could stand where you liked, smoke a fag and have a laff. By comparison, football today is just expensive, sterile and dull - all for the benefit of w@nker glory supporters who want to watch Man Utd on the box.
-
I would say with the right investment 40K would be about right, it depends on the investment/timescales tho. I think people look too much at history, the demographics of football has changed considerably and Saints have never had investment.

I'm already dreading September 2058.
