Maybe his suit was in the wash, or he didn't realise what the dress code was, or he had a **** hot pair of jeans he wanted to wear in honour of Marcus. Either way it's not in the slightest bit important.
-
Who gives a **** what clothes people were wearing. This place is full of weirdos.
-
Maybe they cannot find someone better than what we have, willing to take the step down, at the right price. It's not rocket science, we're in the 3rd tier. The sort of players who we could attract on loan would be better than those we could buy.
-
It makes sense to wait for loanies IMO. You have to remember we are in League 1 and there is a ceiling on who we can attract.
-
Looks like the murdering **** is finally developing a conscience.
-
In theory that's right. In practice though the Police will just use these convictions to justify an even larger Police bill next time Saints play Pompey (probably on a Sunday with even more double-bubble overtime)

I recently had a client that is an exclusive private school in Surrey and I was so shocked at the difference between that school and the state **** hole I went to. It was a million miles better and I think it's a crying shame that so many talented youngsters wont ever get to experience anything that even relates to the education the posh kids at this place get. It HAS to benefit the country to get the best kids in the best places, not just those lucky enough to be born into wealth.

I don't see how disliking a certain paper makes Cortese's retarded policy any more or less wrong.
-
I expect the owner of the iphone factory in China said those exact words shortly before the 10th person killed themselves. In today's world an employer's idea of "fair" is pay them as little as you can possibly get away with, not what they deserve.
-
I think they should put a an extra tax on the private schools to help bring the rest of the education up to scratch. At the moment the gap is way to big. It would also help the country as the best people would get the best jobs, not just a bunch of posh f@ckwits on daddy's gravy train.

Firstly, they are not going to come out an say we're ****ed, even if we are. Secondly, in football things rarely go to plan.
-
About right, I would say: Man U Asenal Liverpool Man City Newcastle Leeds Tottenham Chelsea Villa Everton Sunderland Derby Nottingham Forest Norwich Leicester or Sheff Weds then us

Obviously the important thing is to pay your respects and my thoughts go out to Marcus' family and friends. But this could have very serious consequences on SFC, there's nothing wrong with discussing it.

Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

RIP Marcus, we will always be grateful for saving the club. -
This is a classic SaintsWebForum quote. Some bloke slagging off the manager from the other side of Europe about a "****ing mess" he is not even watching that turns out to be a victory.
-
What a load of nonsense, Pompey won the FA Cup training on a field in Eastleigh.
-
****ing genius idea, annoy the Sun when the single largest contributer of money to football in England is Sky TV. I wonder how many pics SFC will have to sell to make up for not being shown live on Sky again?

Plymouth rag annoyed at SFC - non-SFC photographers refused entry to SMS

We will get much less now. Screen grabs in the Echo, none in the Plymouth papers. I expect our rare appearance in a national will not happen at all. It can only have a negative effect. -
So what, if there had been a Swedish company on floor 97 they might have lost most. We're out there because it's a security issue for the planet, not for an eye for an eye.

Do you think having close to zero pictures in the national press will increase or decrease the amount the club will get for sponsorship? -
That was just an example, people from many countries died in 9/11. It's either a Worldwide problem or it's not. If Cortese was in charge of our armed forces he would have pulled out immediately and sent the rest of Europe an invoice for work undertaken on their behalf.
-
10,000 or 19,000, it's still more than many other country's. Islamic terrorism is a Worldwide problem, it's Sweden's as much as ours. You are right it is 10K, France can only muster 3,750, Belgium 575, and the good old Irish can only manage to get hold of a mighty 6. Sounds fair to me.
-
I don't suggest everyone pull out, just us. NATO can replace our troops with other country's. For example, according to Wikipedia we have 19,500 there, Sweden have 530. It's time to even things out a bit.
-
Colonial or not, we seem to stick our noses in where it's not wanted more than most countries. Afganistan is a problem but it is a World problem, not ours. We should withdraw ALL our forces immediately and just let someone else do it, we have more than played our part for a country of our size. It's complete lunacy talking about defense cuts while we're over there shooting millions of pounds worth of stuff at a bunch of shepherds. Cut 1 should be cut and run - then start doing the maths.

It is weird how some managers do really well then just turn cr@p.
