  1. Spilling the beans on Gaydamak might help save his ass but it's probably not in PFC's interests to annoy the biggest creditor who owns all the land around their ground.
  2. Oh dear, even by your standards that is poor.
  3. People forget that not only have they cheated us (as Saints fans) out of a place in the FA Cup, they have also cheated us (as tax payers) out of millions of pounds which could have been spent on hospitals or better kit for our troops. Cheats shouldn't prosper, that's why any rational person should want that club to cease to exist.
  4. Does anyone know what happens if they exit administration without a CVA before the end of the season? Will they get the -15 this season or next?
  5. I heard it was £16mill a season for two years then £8mill a season for the next two. Whatever it is, HRMC, Gaydamak and Chanrai will all have their eyes on it. I don't know how administration works with future income but I doubt it will end up being spent on players.
  6. I think the total parachute money they are due is £50mill, I think that's now over 4 years. The PL are not a charity so I expect to advance £16mill they drove a pretty hard bargain, I doubt pompey will get anywhere near all 50. It wouldn't surprise me if they say; here's your 16mill, we will guarantee your football creditors, that's all you're getting now **** off to the Championship.
  7. South Today said that the PL are going to advance them £16mill parachute money, just to keep them going to the end of the season! So there's a very good chance of them starting on -17 in the Championship with one of the lowest incomes in the league. without a rich buyer they will be nailed on for relegation again IMO.
  8. A load of fuss over nothing, virtually every picture you see in print has been enhanced in some way. The designers wouldn't be doing their job right if they were not.
  9. You have to admire their optimism! Administration, relegation - Tis merely a flesh wound.
  10. That's the problem, if pompey are sold next week they will probably get away scott free.
  11. I think you're being the most misleading. If someone is stabbed by a black guy, the police looking for the criminal will only stop and search black guys. That's the simple fact.
  12. Pardew's done well IMO, people forget what a basket case the club was last summer.
  13. What happens if they exit administration without a CVA, this season. Will they get the -15 this year or next?
  14. I'm not exactly business brain of Britain but, surely it's either been paid OR it's with their solicitors?
  15. A bigger ground makes perfect sense when we get to the Prem, the ease at which we sold 44K for a minor Wembley final against a bunch of nobodies, without even going on general sale, shows that the numbers are there. Last time in the Prem we regularly sold out, and that was without any sort of investment in the team or any real success. Every time the sold out sign is put up and people are denied tickets, you are limiting growth. Extending SMS is the logical thing to do, especially with the whole waterfront area from Northam to Itchen bridge in need of bulldozing and regenerating. Would be great to tie a new revamped 45K stadium in with a Marina/hotel/casino/leisure park/monkey petting zoo thing.
  16. Gound share would never happen in a million years,
  17. In theory, but when the administrator is being paid by the same crooks he's supposed to report than it's obviously not going to happen is it. The whole thing stinks, Saints played everything by the book, one cheque bounced and we had -10 which screwed up our entire season. Pompey screw us - the tax payer, out of millions and get -9 that wont mean anything because they are as good as down already. Just shows how useless and inept HRMC are, no wonder the country is ****ed if foreign criminals can sidestep paying tax so easily.
  18. I knew they would wriggle out of it, hopefully Chanrai will bleed them dry after administration.
  19. Do the BBC predictor thingy, I did it with pompey winning every single game (including beating Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Villa and Everton) and they still were relegated when given the -9. That's without putting in any major shocks like Wigan beating Liverpool. To stay up they will need to play as well as Man U or Chelsea AND have results go in their favour.
  20. I think it makes sense to occasionally train on a bad pitch, if Saints spend their entire time training in the dome or on the perfect training ground surfaces it's little wonder they come unstuck in some boggy northern **** hole. Of course players should be able to play on any surface, but it's about being the best prepared as possible and surfaces do change the way the game is played.
  21. Why do you keep banging on about Wembaleeeeee as if there is not a court case to shut the club down in 5 days time? Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be The Taxman has shut Pompeeee Que Sera, Sera
  22. I would guess the real reason Storrie is still there is because he is mates with the Premier League Chairman, who was up to his nuts in the whole Shinawatra/Al Fahim episode.
  23. That's like appealing against a manslaughter charge by admitting murder. "Your honour we couldn't possibly avoid administration as we've had millions of dirty cash to launder!!!" As we've seen in Luton's case, it doesn't matter is it was previous owners who are responsible, it was the club laundering money, the club not paying it's debt and the club that needs to be held accountable.
  24. I thought that was weird, an administrator that hasn't completely gone through the books. I don't know a great deal about administrators but you would assume the first thing they would do was go through the books. Looks to me like they know something dodgy has gone on and are just covering their ass.
