I didn't expect us to win today anyway, there are two massive games next week I expect the players have more than half an eye on these.

At least we can focus on getting to Wembley, zero chance of the play-offs now IMO.

That was only because we went into admin after the deadline, if Lowe had pulled the plug a few days earlier we would have took the -10 hit last season. I don't know if there is a deadline in the Prem or not.

It is pathetic, if a Saints fan is traveling that far the club should go out of their way to make sure they can get a ticket. Unfortunately the ticket office is full of jobsworth ****s IMO.

So the way I see it, Chainrai either: A) Chucks millions down a black hole to keep them afloat and effectively spends a fortune for a Championship club. B) Lets them go bust and writes off his £15mill but I expect keep the land and the ground for redevelopment. C) Finds a buyer in the next few days. D) Lets the football club go into admin and keep the ground holding any future purchaser to ransom.

The guy at the The Echo sounds like a **** but Cortese is acting like one. Thye are like two babies fighting over a toy.

There is no reason why their plans shouldn't work in the long term but it will takes a few years for the different parts of the ground to settle into the "stand up and sing" areas and the "sit down with thermos flask" areas. The idea that the Northam would turn into some sort of Kop is nonsense, you will just end up with the Chapel moving to the other side of the ground. Half the Northam would move to the Kingsland and half to the Chapel to be near the away fans. A lot of fuss and inconvenience for no real gain. By far the best solution would be to blow off a couple of corporate boxes and move away fans to the Northam Itchen corner. You could put the rozzers in the last few boxes, then they could enjoy their doughnuts while they work.

Is it definitely open for the skate game? Don't usually drink there but it was superb for the skate game a few years back because the pompey mongs are escorted right past on the way to the ground, it's like a freak show.

Moving the away fans will make no difference whatsoever, it doesn't matter where they are, the people who sing will sing, those who don't won't.

I don't think it's a problem as it is. It would be nice if the away fans were stuck in a corner but it's not a problem. What's the problem?

Could it be that their one secured creditor (Chanrai who has the ground as security) would rather they were liquidated so that he could build on Fratton Park?

I dunno about Getty, don't use them anymore, the football ones appear to be rights managed so you will pay depending on usage. Probably just for editorial though. The club will have plenty or stock pictures taken from pre-season friendlies etc. If anyone on here has some decent shots I would just use them, if you cut the player out and airbrush the FL logo off it would be impossible to get done, not that you would anyway.

WhitmonSaint, if I was you I would contact the club, there will be plenty of pics you could use, it will just be up to the club if they want to help or not. if you are willing to pay then I'm guessing they might give you the contact for their photographer. At the end of the day it's their business you will be promoting so they should help, depends how busy they are tho. Or if you're got decent cash you will find pics on http://www.gettyimages.co.uk

More to the point, isn't Azoughy the convicted fraudster? If he is, and is making all the executive decisions surely that's a breech of the PL's fit and proper rules.

It's got to be hard on his wages, is it 1 or 2 million a year he's on? You can put up with a lot a crap if you have 100K stuffed in your account at the end of the month.

The game after we went into admin we sold over 27,000. That's Saints V Charlton in the CHAMPIONSHIP and no freebies handed out. That's 10,000 more than you despite being in a league below. Plus, we know from experience that being in the Prem attracts many neutrals, I wonder what your attendances would be if you took those out of the equation?
