  1. The Conservatives will win the election in a landslide IMO. Forget the polls saying how close it will be, most Labour voters are fed up with the whole thing and will just stay at home while the Torys will be out in force. I have always leaned towards Labour but just refuse to vote for a party that lied to take us to war for the sake of oil, I will probably never vote for them again regardless of policy. The **** thing is I dont think their could be a worse time to have a tory government.
  2. It does take the ****, why do we always have to pander to the inferiority complexes of Wales and Scotland? We should at least have our own assembly. I would vote for devolution, we would be way better off without having to bank roll **** holes like Glasgow.
  3. UK Independence Party: 66% British National Party: 61% Conservative Party: 52% Green Party: 42% Labour Party: 40% Liberal Democrats: 40%
  4. According to the BBC... More than 3,000 white farmers are estimated to have been murdered since the end of apartheid in 1994. World Cup anyone!?
  5. It would be the Greens but while I agree 100% with their stand on the environment I get he impression they have a lot of looney left policies I refuse to vote for. I would rather live in a ****ged environment and not hand out my tax money to scroungers. UKIP it is, though I'm not particularly anti Europe, I object to not being given a referendum.
  6. You would still expect them to be stronger than Swindon. When teams like that over perform you usually see the manager leave or players sold or both.
  7. That's not good news for us, we will stand a better chance of promotion next year if Leeds, Norwich and Charlton go up.
  8. 16K for a Premier League game against Blackburn, we get 18K for a 3rd tier fixture against Hartlepool.
  9. play-offs were a long shot anyway, roll on next season.
  10. It's time to stop ****ing about, we need a 2nd goal or it's season over.
  11. I don't think the trust had anything to do with Silverspoons, it was just Illingsworth.
  12. I don't think the Echo has great "support" as such but I expect most of it's readers are Saints fans and enjoy reading about Saints. Plus they are a struggling Southampton company which employs many Southampton people. I agree with all you say about the Samual article but fact is, much of what he said rang true and Cortese opening his mouth gave Samual the license to write what he did. There is nothing wrong with what Cortese said but I can see why some people could see it as arrogant considering Cortese has only been in the industry 5 mins. Also just because what you say is right, doesn't mean it's right to say it in the media. Cortese is doing a good job, but IF he was booed then he must be doing something wrong PR wise.
  13. I didn't even notice him being booed but if he was I can only assume it's to do with The Echo thing and what Samual wrote. The Echo thing was stupid and would do nothing but make him less popular. And you obviously have not read the Samual piece if you havn't read anything critical on Cortese.
  14. If Cortese was booed then he does need to have a rethink about his approach to PR. The spat with the Echo was pointless and didn't do anyone any good, whilst the Samual article was harsh, Cortese did give him all the ammo to use.
  15. This has to be the most pointless thread ever.
  16. I don't think this was made clear to the people purchasing tickets, surely a trade descriptions issue.
  17. I think people are still owed money from that fiasco.
  18. Good stadium but I agree, there is no way it should have cost what it did. It's one of those projects that like the Dome was always going to go over budget, too many people on the take who are accountable to no one. When you give organisations like the FA, who are riddled with politics, a blank cheque money just disapears everywhere. I know someone who was subcontracted, he said they could basically make up what they could get paid. The Olympics will be a similar disaster with politicians and commitees making decisions they shouldn't be let a million miles near.
  19. IF it did happen then who ever did it are retards. I still fail to see why people would boo one of the people who saved the club and helped bankroll it to Wembley. Fact is whoever was watching the big screen was probably not watching Lord c**tface walk out. I couldn't say as I was one of hundreds quing to use Wembley's few toliets.
  20. I didn't hear any booing. Dulldays it is quite possible that the people who heard booing whilst Cortese was on the big screen, were not seeing the real reason why the booing happened (ie) mexican wave or lord whatever his name is. There is zero reason why anyone would boo Cortese, it makes no sense.
  21. Sounds like an insurance fiddle to me.
  22. get in!
