I suppose it's impossible to do anything until we know wether we are going to be in business, and if we are wether we are owned by a consortium of Arab billionaires or by a bunch of fans with buckets.

£500K Needed to Keep Going to the End of the Season
aintforever replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
I don't get all this "keep going to the end of the season" ******, what exactly would Barclays of Aviva have to gain by making SFC die? Surely it's in their interests to keep us running? -
If Lowe had filed for admin just a few days earlier it would be a simple case of agree a CVA and we would be starting next season on a clean slate. Cheers Rupes, you ****.
-
I think we will be in line for -25, -10 for admin, -15 for the CVA. I know Bournemouth got -17 for the CVA but that was because they have been in admin before. I think 15 is what Leeds got.
-
I find it offensive what the Football League have done to Luton. There obviously needs to be punishments for teams that break the rules but removing them from the league is just a complete disgrace.

Probably a fraction of what the club spent on the pointless numerous rozzers all on double bubble. -
We are 2 points off 3 teams, 3 wins will keep us up, you can have my personal guarantee on that. Doubt we will get them tho.

£500K Needed to Keep Going to the End of the Season

It's hard to argue with anything GM has said here, Lowe, Wilde, Crouch, Hoos and that tangerine coloured **** should cough up the 500k between them, they are all to blame. -

If people want to donate wouldn't they be better off just buying a few extra tickets or something from the store? At least then it would show up in the accounts as ticket/merchandise sales and the club would look more attractive to an investor. -
Message for Wotte: Play Skacel in attacking midfield role vs Palace
aintforever replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
No doubt he was over-rated but anyone who can play left midfield for Hertha Berlin and get in the Czech Republic squad for the last European Championships as a left midfielder should at least be given a run out in our shower of ****e. Or we could just stick with the same side that got dicked by Charlton. -

Agree, it is madness he has not even been given a go in his favoured position. This is a guy who scored for fun in the SPL and the one season he has played left mid for us he spent most of his time covering for Bale. Has to be worth a try over the current crock of ****e. -
I refuse to believe it's just the incompetence of Lowe that led to this, they would have known what Barclays plans were, they would have known exactly when we were to go over our overdraft. IMO Lowe put the club into admin a few days after the deadline either out of spite, or for some other reason. Can anypne else offer a logical explanation as to why we would enter administration just a few days after the critcal deadline?

I can't see what Barclay's would have to gain by misleading Lowe about the overdraft facility, or if in fact they can say one thing and do another? Our financial state couldn't have been much different a few days earlier, we all knew the deadline was the last Thursday in March, I find it incredible that all this happened a few days later. Clubs previously have been able to time going into admin during the half time break of the final league game to avoid a deduction the next season. Why were we incapable of even hitting an obvious deadline! When we get the deduction we will be a far less attractive buy, 2 years in League 1 minimum. It will certainly reduce the value of the club, I will be very suspicious if Lowe attempts to buy the thing. Also it is my understanding that the creditors didn't put us in admin, Lowe did it when some cheques bounced - I think.
-
Lowe surely had to be aware of the overdraft facility, and of how much was going out in cheques? A simple meeting with the bank a couple of weeks before might have been a good idea - no? As for extra funding, both lowe and Wilde are very wealthy men - maybe a short term interest free loan might have helped?

Might be a good idea for a couple bucket collectors to hang around the player's entrance. -
If Lowe had announced admin 6 days earlier than he did we would be starting next season on a level playing field. His final act of spite or incompetence has really ****ed this club up.
-
I wish it was do or die, think now it's more do and still die regardless of the result.
-
He was ridiculed because he pretended to be ITK when he was just passing on info he had been fed. Interesting to know that it was Corbett and Crouch spreading the bull**** about Allen.
-
It would be great if we weasel our way out of this 10 points AND stay up, everyone would hate our guts, it would be a bit like supporting Man U. If we beat Wolves on Friday a whole load of clubs will start crying like babies.
-
If the points are deducted it WILL be next season, if we finish in the bottom 3. Our only way to get a deduction this season is by finishing out of the bottom 3 - then it will be applied on the last day and thus relegate us. This is all Lowe's fault for missing the deadline by 6 days.

Too many consortiums for Mr Fry (and us)?
aintforever replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Surely as we are in administration if someone wanted to buy the farm or Staplewood they would just have to give Mr Fry a call. Isn't that why he's there, to sell stuff and give the cash to the creditors? -
Did Lowe make the biggest mistake of all without us noticing?
aintforever replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
One obvious mistake is not taking admin before the deadline and taking any points hit this season instead of starting next season on -10. The club will be much harder to sell if the prospective buyers know they will have at least 2 seasons in League 1. Alpine's "take admin now" thread got alot of stick but he was proved 100% right. -
Of course there's a concern that whoever buys us might not be best for the club, but if the prefered people cannot afford to stump up enough cash I can't see how they can be that great. If someone is buying us just to try and make a quick buck there is a ceiling to how much they will pay before it doesn't become worthwhile, anyone decent with the club at heart would be able to stump up more. If they cant then it's thanks but no thanks, hard cash is the most important thing.
