  1. 30% chance is probably about right. Facts are we could win our game in hand and still not be out the bottom 3. Form wise we are OK so have a chance but we are on the ropes, one weekend of bad results could see us 6 points adrift. Charlton is a must win just to keep us in touch because Wolves and Watford away follow and I can't see us getting more than a point from them.
  2. You cant compare us to Reading, they have a sugar daddy. The one important similarity with our two relegation seasons is Lowe's failure to get the right manager.
  3. Nothing stupid about it, it's worth giving stick to try and put them off. He was applauded by pretty much everyone after the game.
  4. I wouldn't know what Bolton's accounts look like but they are a smaller club than us in a ****ty part of the country but are still in the Prem. My point is that setting a wage ceiling of say 10k will mean that you can not sign ANY decent free transfer, which means you have to pay a fee for average players who are willing to earn peanuts. We failed to adapt after the bosman ruling, we should have accepted that virtually all footballers are merceneries and had a flexible wage structure.
  5. Agree Wotte needs to earn his crust and shake it up because the performance on Saturday against a poor Blackpool team wasn't good enough. I would try Skacel in midfield, this is a guy who scored 16 goals in one season from midfield for Hearts, he was top for assists in our playoff season - he is wasted at left back IMO.
  6. The Dell did give the players more of an advantage than SMS, you cannot deny that opposition players hated playing there. But the financial advantage of SMS has to outweigh that , but only in the Prem.
  7. Pompey would go through this league like a vindaloo IMO.
  8. Or maybe Wotte's honeymoon period would have just occured a few games earlier and we would be in the same position we are now? The performance against QPR was dog****, no better or worse than under Jan IMO.
  9. Can't argue with any of that.
  10. Do you really have confidence in Lowe not messing things up again?
  11. This site will always be a reflection of the club - people just don't give a toss any more. There is no future with the current people in charge, stay up or go down it makes little difference IMO. If we manage to pull of an escape we will just be putting off the inevitable relegation until next year or the year after. The only chance of a future is new ownership, unfortunately it appears the only chance of that is admin which will only be brought about by relegation which is crap.
  12. I think you will find it was Wilde's Execs that assembled the wage bill. Crouch did his best to reduce it by loaning out Rasiak and Skacel, plus he managed to keep us up which is the important thing. Let's hope Lowe can achieve that.
  13. We need too win our next two games to give us any chance IMO. I think 6 points from Blackpool and Charlton would get us out the bottom 3 but probably only just, if we go into the two tough away games (Watford and Wolves) still playing catch up we are ****ed.
  14. As an idea it is good, but there is no reason why it cannot be properly democratic. The club will just have to accept the fact that the people who speak for the fans might not share their opinion or like them. Sure there is a chance that 4x Mr Angrys could get voted in, that's just a risk they will have to take. If the Mr Angrys make it a farce and the fans are not happy with that then they just wont get elected next time around - that's how democracy works.
  15. That's the whole point though, if it's not democratic it is a complete and utter farce. As long as the club hand pick the candidates it will never be a voice of the fans so any decisions made will be meaningless, just a bunch of Lowe luvies sat around giving the "fans" approval on whatever disaster lowe has lined up next. The only way it could possibly work is if the club had no say at all in who the fans choose to speak for them - why should the club pick and choose?
  16. We're ****ed
  17. Hopefully he is being shipped out to raise cash for a loanie. Made no sense having him and Forecast sat there scratching their asses - yet more very poor management.
  18. If it's democratic it's democratic. That means if the fans want 4 Chorley's to represent them then so be it. If people are not allowed on because certain people perceive them as "hot heads" or "loud mouths" then the whole process is a complete farce.
  19. My nomination has to go to Richard Chorley, if only to expose this pathetic attempt at PR for what it is.
  20. I support the club and that includes everyone, not just the first team. By buying into Lowe's experiments you are actually being unsupportive to the team in the long term IMO.
  21. I wont be renewing if Lowe or Wilde are still running the club regardless of what league we are in. I'm not too bothered about watching crap football. I refuse to help finance any more of Lowe's experiments, I think those who renew will actually be helping the demise of the club. The only way forward for SFC is to force these idiots out, admin or not IMO.
  22. Lowe has to take all the blame IMO, sacking Pearson and putting Pootvleit in charge was a mistake of Steve Wigley proportions.
