  1. I have a 2 seater dark brown leather sofa for sale. Very good condition. Would want £50. Collect from Shirley area. PM if photo required.
  2. Humble pie on the menu Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson predicted before the start of the season that Rickie Lambert would not score more than five league goals for Southampton over the 38-game campaign. Well, Lambert already has four, and there was something beautifully predictable about the fact he netted a brace against Merson's old club Aston Villa on Saturday Read more at http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/171370.html#heRziqWOTtxhfXmZ.99
  3. Might be wrong but I thought that he said "our third keeper" meaning, I assumed, that we now have three.
  4. How the hell did Fonte (who had his best game of the season) get less votes than Fox??
  5. Bloody Hell! He`s not that bad!!
  6. I have seen some ridiculous threads on here over the years but this one takes some beating.
  7. Sadly Saints fans have short-term memories. Fonte has become a donkey, Jos, looking at the Maya thread, is crap, and now Kelvin is useless. Hey- Ho.....
  8. Said to my daughter that he looked confident which was a great positive. Didn`t look out of place at all.
  9. You have to be very careful what you say. When I posted something similar I was accused of saying that NA was as good as SAF.
  10. Once again Miltonroader07 lights blue touchpaper and runs away!
  11. So are we dismissing NA after the 4 fixture that we had, or are we going to hold our nerve and give him a decent chance?
  12. I would have thought that that was fairly obvious but hey-ho.
  13. To some on here he is.
  14. IF and it's a big if, Cortese decides to replace NA it will not be with a run-of-the-mill dinosaur EPL manager. Expect something "different" IMHO. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk 2
  15. My other great love is Speedway. I grew up watching Southampton Saints who were one of the best teams around at the time. Love watching it on Sky, especially the GP series and always go to the British GP at the Millenium Stadium.

  17. Following on from the Retro Football Games in Computer forum, do any old gits remember these, or indeed any other footy board games that we enjoyed before the age of the the ZX Spectrum? I particularly enjoyed playing "Tackle"as it involved the use of strategy rather than the throw of a dice. http://www.vintagetoysgames.co.uk/wembley_board_game_1960s.html http://www.oldfootballgames.co.uk/in...?pageid=124080
  18. Pah! Football games didn`t start with the computer age!! We used to play this, and we loved it! http://www.vintagetoysgames.co.uk/wembley_board_game_1960s.html ...and this one. Really liked this. Wasn`t just luck. Involved strategy! http://www.oldfootballgames.co.uk/index.asp?pageid=124080
  19. It is fascinating. I believe that they found someone from Richards line so that they can check the DNA.
  20. Very interesting. Could it be?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRY0CLRCjM8
  21. I remember many years ago, somebody throwing a fish (mackerel, if I remember correctly) into the penalty area from the Milton Road end.
  22. Even Youtube clips are better that condemning a player before seeing him play or basing an opinion on a 15 minute sub appearance/EPL debut against Man U.
  23. Sadly too many on here judge players sometimes before they even play for us. 15 mins is nothing.
  24. Civil Partnership??
  25. Check on wiki. See who has won most South Coast Derbys!! Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk 2
