  1. Me neither. Mind you, I had never heard of Rickie Lambert until we signed him.
  2. Oh yes. That was it. However, the tickets prices were announced at the beginning of June and the two week renewal period finished IIRC on July 15th. Not sure that this was much of a problem/obstruction though.
  3. Doesn`t NA have a background as a physio? I am sure that IF Maynard were to sign, any past injuries would be taken into account.
  4. Didn`t NC say something in his programme notes for the Leeds game that he was impressed with the amount of ST`s sold or words to that effect??
  5. Even I am getting bored with you now. All it needs now is for you to do the "has Skacel signed yet" "joke" and it will be the "Perfect Storm" of knobness
  6. Interesting view on things:- http://nathanieltapley.com/2011/08/10/an-open-letter-to-david-camerons-parents/
  7. I know him! Isn`t he the Mayor of P*rtsmouth?
  8. The other thing that annoys me is when we don`t have anyone at the far side of the box when we have corners. We generally have a big bundle of players in the goal mouth but no-one spare on the far side for a ball hit too hard that sails over everyones head.
  9. Empire of the Summer Moon - Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanche Tribe. A superb read if you are remotely interested in the subject of American history.
  10. Houdini?
  11. Now spread to Brighton http://i.imgur.com/C5XQm.gif
  12. http://www.twitvid.com/4JTZH Brave woman.
  13. The difference is that this time it seems as though it is being done on our terms, and is not being done just to bring much needed money into the club. This does seem like it`s his dad pushing for the move though which is very sad. All he can see is pound signs in his eyes. We all know that it would be best for the lad if he had at least another season of development at SMS.
  14. Surely he is paid to play for the club in whatever role the manager sees fit?
  15. Now....if it was Susanna Reid...........
  16. I chuckled when the Plymouth Fans were chanting "You Dirty Northern Bastards" to us at SMS 2 or 3 seasons ago.
  17. Or the Arsenal one??
  18. Not sure that I understand this thread. Is it something to do with this:-
  19. http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,,15231_7079850,00.html SOUTHAMPTON Southampton have plenty of players who are pleasing on the eye and their midfield looks full of talent. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Adam Lallana are two of the best young English players around; the former is extremely dynamic and can play in a variety of positions, while the latter is a master creator. They also have two more orchestrators in Morgan Schneiderlin and Guly Do Prado and despite some people's reservations, I think Rickie Lambert can get goals at this level. Add in the experience of Kelvin Davis and Danny Butterfield and if they can defend well enough, they have a real chance.
  20. I think that he came in when Pardew was here - against his wishes if rumour is correct - but he didn`t play him much.
  21. Thanks very much but it`s too late. We are already addicted! We are planning to do the Baltic cruise next, probably on Aurora. She is a lovely ship. Thanks for the link. We will make use of it. The New York is the "New England" one isn`t it? That also looked good.
  22. I think that the League are well aware of the Luton situation but sadly, Poopey are not like any other club and can apparently get away with anything. It`s a puzzle.
  23. Yep, I`m all for accuracy. Further more accurate and interesting info here:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Coast_derby
