Who else was at carlisle, Wolves and Oldham?
miserableoldgit replied to fanimal's topic in The Saints
I was at Carlisle and Wolves although not at Oldham last night. If my memory serves me correctly the Wolves score was 2-6. -
TBF no decision will be made by the fans. The results of any poll can be seen by NC and the family and any decision will be theirs.

We are all posting with smiles on our faces!

This really is quite wrong. You only have to look down the unfashionable end of the M27 to see what getting the wrong owner (or owners in their case) can mean. ML`s actions have given us a team that we can be proud of - given us our pride back. He has given us a well structure club with hopefully a stable and secure future. For the first time in many years (including time in the Prem) we are going to games with high expectations and coming away with smiles on our faces. We can look to the future with excitement because of what he has done for our club, and to belittle that by calling him a footnote is really not understanding the quite monumental turnaround in the clubs fortunes. I suppose that MLT, for example, is also only a footnote. After all he only played for a handful of years out of 125!

Just had this e-mailed to me from Saints Marketing. Anyone know anything about them? http://www.exsaints.co.uk/?c1=Bonds

That`s wind!!

I think that the Palace job and the pressure to keep them up would have been too big for him in the same way as I think being Saints manager would. He always comes across to me as a moaning, petulant little school boy when things go against him, and has anyone ever seen him smile?? I am not convinced that he has the confidence in himself that others seem to have in him. Time will tell of course.

I read the Mail and I think that they just mentioned that we had made eight changes in response to Holloways bleatings about them making nine changes. I certainly never saw any mention of NA disrespecting the cup. As I said in an earlier post I thought that the Mail (and the Telegraph) had quite good balanced reports yesterday.
-
TBF, I did read some half-decent reports in yesterday papers (Mail/Telegraph). Admittedly they did make a bit deal of Holloways bleatings, but gave a fair asseement of the game saying how one-sided it was, unlike ITV whose "highlights" gave the impression that it was 50/50.

"Guly has agreed to make his loan move from Cesena permanent, a decision Adkins welcomes with open arms". Seems fairly definite.

Dunes argument (and the point of this thread) is that NC stopped Shrewsbury from supposedly making money by insisting on top prices for the game. Nothing to do with ST holders(of which I am one).
-
He probably wanted to reward the loyal 10,400 that bothered to turn up against Shrewsbury and will want to make money out of the other 22,000 that will turn up for this one. I, for one, don`t blame him.

I normally quite enjoy your posts and the way you bait certain elements on here but since the draw you are coming across as a bit of a knob - more than usual some would say!

Too right!!

Cannot argue. MoM in an outstanding team performance. Looked your archetypal "cultured midfield general" today. Superb!

Yeah, but what`s your point?

Out of the the kindness of their heart and to help out poor plucky Poopey who have been treated so harshly by the world.

I apologise in advance because this has almost certainly been posted many times, but I was looking at the all-time results between the two clubs and found it interesting reading, esp. the results at Krap Nottarf!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Coast_derby#All-time_results

I suppose when that lot down at the unfashionable end of the M27 stop doing an impression of Billy Smarts Circus, The Keystone Cops, Monty Pythons Flying Circus and The Real Hustle, all rolled into one, we will have to look for something else to enjoy, but I wouldn`t hold my breath that this will end soon!
-
Corp. Every post of yours mentions the two 4-1`s. Cherry picking or what?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Coast_derby#All-time_results In all competitions :- Saints 19 wins, Poopey 9 wins and 8 drawn games. We even won more of the games at Farton than you did. But if it keeps you happy........... 19 - 9 PMSL!!

Yes they do! :- Yesterday 13:10 #20 Simster View Profile View Forum Posts The nightmare of Join DateJul 2003LocationReigate, SurreyPosts23,655 This really is splendid news. Not only should we beat them, but surely relegation can't be ruled out for these tin pot thieving ****s and their smelly chav followers?

I think that you will find that Billy Bragg was involved in setting up this, which probably upset the BNP :- http://www.folkagainstfascism.com/index.php Read the "About" page.
