We can still win this league and i reckon we will beat Col U. Keep the faith! BTW, anyone who is thinking of driving there, DO NOT park in the club car park behind the ground. It will take you well over an hour to get out. Went last season. Terrible ground with no atmosphere. Another noddy club of the highest order.

League Table since Adkins - indications for 2nd half of season?
Didcot Saint replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
No. We are imo faultering. -

Eddie Mitchell Stirs The Pot Before Cherries Game
Didcot Saint replied to farawaysaint's topic in The Saints
We just HAVE TO BATTER them. Poxy non descript noddy club who all of a sudden think its big to take the **** because we are in the same League as them for the first time in a billion years. Respect for their results this year, but they can still sod off. -
Someone died apparently. Couldn't make game today but my mate in block 32 texted me at half time. Condolences to their family.

Agree and most of the time playing the ref too. Disgraceful penalty given to Arsenal today. Perhaps the FA has instructed them to make sure all the big teams get through to maintain the credibility of the competition......

Would you be feeling differently tonight if...
Didcot Saint replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
It's a good position to be in no doubt, but we are DROPPING not rising. Gutted. -
Spot on.
-
That is a very good point but this is League 1 and it was TRANMERE. Heartbreaking to loose to teams like that. Good luck to them but saints with the players, support and backing we are lucky enough to have should beat cannon fodder like them.
-
Yes but how many of the top sides loose to awful teams like that. I'm sorry but i rest my case.
-
We should be beating utterly ****e Sunday League Pub Teams like Tranmere. Not good enough and a total embarrassment considering the players we had out there. The others at the top must be ****ing themselves laughing. Are we a one man team? No Lallana no goals.
-
I don't care what division it is, its exciting and I'm loving it. Look at Leeds and Norwich who went up last year. We could gostraight through the Championship imo. Come on Saints let's blow this league away!

First game of footy I ever saw was my school mate Saints supporting Dad took us to Stamford Bridge in 1976 to watch a 1 1 draw the week before the FA Cup Semi v Palace. I was hooked and got my Dad to start coming to the Dell with us. Result, even living in Oxfordshire all my life I've been lucky enough to have a season ticket since 1981. Now me my brother, Dad and a load of others from Didcot still go to every home game. Premier League or League 1 as long as I can afford it I will always keep going. COYR!

We are the best team in this League without a shadow of a doubt. Adkins took over at 4th from bottom. Now second and we have just battered two very competitive League 1 sides. We are on a roll (Brentford excluded) and the outcome is to me a foregone conclusion. The League 1 trophy presented to a packed SMS against Walsall on the last day of the season.

Utterly cringeworthy and a total and complete embarressing *****. PLEASE get rid Nicola.
-
He is in fact truly cringeworthy and embarrassing. Please tell me he has gone!!

Blimey some of the comments on this thread are totally unbelievable. Are you lot Saints fans or what? We've got a home draw in the FA Cup against a top flight team and people are moaning it's boring/won't go/can't be arsed etc. I thought being a fan was about going and supporting your team in any game Ffs. WTF are you moaning for? Bet you all went to the JPT final so what's the difference with this competition? Get a ****ing grip.
-
I love Rickie but fear he's lost it and may be sold. Look at the performances that Adkins has seen him put in and would you be convinced?
-
fair comment. Just annoys me that's all. Nothing wrong with being passionate about Saints being the biggest club in the area! Good luck to both of them.
-
Had a feature on Brighton and Bournemouth being first and second in the League which as results suggest is deserved. They did however omit to say that we have already beaten The Cherries twice and have the highest average attendance in the League. And I reckon we will still finish higher than both of them. Come on Saints, there is definetly only one team on the South Coast!
-
Not good enough Nick. Report the f...... W..... To the police!
-
In all fairness yes, Huddersfield are a good side but with the players we have, we should be better. We NEED to be drawing or winning against our promotion rivals to have a chance. They have not had a good run of results of late, lost their last home league game, and we should have got something. Not the end of the world though, plenty of games left. It also hurts to loose ANY games to ****e teams in this poxy league.
-
The way we played yesterday we are better than most teams in the NPC! We still have to battle our way out of this league as well as playing good football. If we converted more of our chances I would confidently predict us winning the league by some margin.
-
They really are a bunch of complete muppet. Our 'Cup Final' ffs what against a tinpot pin***** on the football map like them. Stupid little ****s.

Opposition fans let out at the same time as home supporters....
Didcot Saint replied to Redbul's topic in The Saints
To me it is common sense. The amount of time it takes to let the home crowd disperse after is nothing to the trouble it would prevent by making them wait 10 mins. If they want to gob off and throw coins at us all game then they should keep the tw... In for at least half hour after anyway.
