We were as good as anyone in the playoff season, after that he made some mistakes and wasnt helped by boardroom politics. He was the one who got the best out of Baird and Jones, before that they were widely written off.

I would be furious if Pardew went. He's done all he realistically could.

He can run. He can pass. He can shoot. And boy can he cross. I doubt he has a future at the club as pardew has clearly made his mind up, but if he stays fit at his next club he will be a great success.

I still think Holmes is class. Would have been better than Puncheon the other night, he had a shocker.

Pardew won't play Lallana in CM, he doesn't even like him playing just off the striker. I suspect it will be Wotton brought into central midfield, although I'd rather it was Gillett.

god you're boring. we've made progress this season, doing about as well as I expected. Will take a lot to get to the playoffs now but I won't be throwing my toys out the pram after a couple of disappointing weeks. Big picture looks good and I rate Pardew.

James is an average defender at best but boy can he cross. He has good potential IMO.

I dont understand, how do derby still have 33k, they have little to play for and their club isnt on the endge of the abys. We desperately need full stadiums to keep our football club alive and its only 23k. Really dont get it.

I really hope hes right mate! I´d take league one football in an instant, anything but non-existence. If theres a club to support I´ll support it the same no matter what division they are in. If there is no club it will leave a gap in my life that I´m not sure how to fill.

Not sure what he said was particularly insightful, he clearly doesnt understand the situation fully. However, I dont think all of what he said was wrong, this is the time when you find the real fans at the ground, supporting suring the 90 minutes. Whatever they do outside that is their business. Although I suppose by that model I´m not a proper supporter, as I´m writing this from el Salvador and won´t make it to another game before league 1 I wouldnt think. My last one was Reading at home and I thought we were pretty good, we may well rue those missed points. My real worry is that Jan´s resignation was basically an admission that the experiment had failed, but we´re just carrying on with it anyway, almost half-heartedly with Wotte instead of Jan (who I quite liked). Hard to be as passionate from out here, but I did throw quite a large hissy fit when I realised that Surman´s goal didnt earn us a point. Only found out the next day there had been another goal...

Both have got a habit of disappearing. Saga was so poor last season but I suppose he's worth a run in the team. Beggars can't be choosers.
