Well, there is a law against inciting racial hatred and I guess the mods may have felt that suggesting members of the public to join the EDL may have been seen as a little inflammatory. They did well to delete the thread and you'd do well to get over it.

heh ... no worries, it's not so much the fraud, just that I'd ba nnoyed if I sturggled to buy tickets in 'popular' areas only to find they were actually being used etc.

I don't think it's that prestigious tbh. Isn't it only in the last couple of years that it has actually been televised live, and on Ch5 as well? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have it here, it's just I don't think it's quite as internationally recognised as you imply in your post.

i'm in exactly the same boat. the solution is that i haven't purchased season tickets and have to put up with paying the expensive match day prices when i can afford it. If the club could offer a discount for bulk purchasing tickets to five home matches in one go or somehting, then i'd be happy with that.

i have a used one you can buy. it's got some springs which poke you in the back and a rather exotic range of stains.
