I don't think it's a s simple as you make out. When a government are actively pursuing a system of mass genocide which popular opinion is in favour of, it seems morally dubious to later start pinning charges on staff members responsible for carrying out the duties. There 'moral choice' was probably "do your job or get killed". I wonder what you would have choosed?

yes, but Megrahi (sp?) was found guilty on very dubious circumstances; many say he had the whole affair pinned on him so powers that be could they say they ' got their man'. That could have swayed their decision to release him to a great degree if true. That said, that doesn't mean I'm in favour of prosecuting this new fella. The point of how mistreated Iraqi people have been at the hands of our troops is an interesting one. Whilst it is hardly a direct comparison with genocide, it does make you realise that there are many guilty parties in war. This guy was carrying out pretty grim work with the other option of being killed I would have thought. Under similar circumstances, I would have thought that many of those people calling for his execution etc would have behaved in a similar manner to how he did.

The Lockerbie guy? There's a great deal of debate as to whether he was actually guilty anyway. Not that I can see what he has to do with the case being discussed here ...

Good job we kept the receipt for that one.

Nothing about a ball game between two teams of 11 then?

big prem team at home ... manure, chelsea, liverpool, arsenal etc. Oh and perhaps a return of Harry in the form of Spurs! yes and of course, how could i forget pompey? I might be getting carried away but with a home advantage I'd like to think we could have a go at turning them over.

does it mean that the fake doctor will be struggling to sell his flats?

The working class will knock maggie forever, and those who blossomed under her reign will love her. You won't see a reasoned debate on the subject, that's for sure. Blair's election was an inevitability, but if you look at the state of the bloody place now, you can't say he has improved the country on all counts.

It's what happens in parts of the ground that aren't full of neanderthasls.

You pay your £5 to behave as you see fit within the boundaries of the law, not to have what is and isn't acceptable dictated to you by somebody on the internet.

it may have been deanovski's latest present from his girlfriend in an ever more creative attempt to avoid customs charges.

no they don't.

Probably largely down to the calibre of people working as low paid claims handlers.

They don't pay a 'set price' at all. They will make you an offer based on their valuation of the car. They will base their valuation on what they see as being 'fair market value'. If you feel their offer is inaccurate and you can provide evidence to the contrary (e.g similar vehicles being sold for higher prices), then you can write them a letter to that effect. Be sure to include your evidence and state how much you want. As long as you're reasonable and have evidence of the value you're claiming, you have a good chance of getting the amount you request.

I always though the LB in Shirley was Kachina's poorer cousin, and FWIW it's worth I always thought Kachina served plastic food at extortionate prices, e.g. £24.95 per head.

yep and if anybody has looked at what's on autotrader recently for £500, you'll know that you might want to think about getting a vehicle below market value from a friend etc.
