I'm not sure how valid these price comparisons are. I looked at the price of a sim-free iphone 5 compared to a sim-free Samsung Galaxy S3 and the former is £529 compared tt the latter's £450. Hardly a significant difference imo.

Can't fault approx 3 year old used Fords as they are cheap as chips. I brought a 3.5 year old Mondeo with one owner, 37k miles and full history for £4.4k and it has been fine apart from one replaced abs sensor and one coil pack. Now on 74k and feeling fine.

It's the same situation for all reserve players. You pay them a 'full wage' to be here in case they are called upon to do a job. You don't ship out players just because they're not in the first eleven because you think you're 'saving money'.
