County Locksmiths in Shirley will do it for you. Price varies on make, but shouldn't be more than half what you've been quoted.

Brilliant. ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+F5 reloads the whole page.

I think we will be soundly beaten by three goals to one. I fear it could be worse.

Nope. He's one who seems to have been well and truly frozen out and yet he hasn't even been sent on loan. Seems a little unfortunate.

He just didn't seem that good did he?

Small? Lightweight? Anyone got the stats to throw me off the racial stereotyping?

" ... and a new Olympic international." ... but yeh, I forgot to name him!

One of the 'agents' on Twitter was saying Everton were in for Butland late yesterday and that his asking price had apparently dropped to £6m from £12m being quoted earlier in the window. If true, this would suggest that Brum were keener to sell than they had first appeared but that they were just perhaps a little too greedy. Perhaps Saints' valuation of the player was, in fact, about right? What happened to Scott Dann. Did he stay put?

A potential thread for the lazy, and one where the resident stattos can use their knowledge for good... Suggest one of our rumoured transfer targets from this recent window and let another user come along and tell us where they ended up. I'll start with Curtis Davies please. Where did he end up or did he stay put?

I hadn't really thought about GKs until now, but you might be on to something there. I certainly have my concerns about the defence though. I think four quality CBs should be the minimum, and at the moment we have Jos, Fonte - and I'll leave it up to the rest of you to deicde what sort of 'quality' they are - and a new Olympic international. At best, we're left with three players there and one injury leaves us already very bare. Whilst Clyne looks quality at RB, the LB situation is a joke. Without knowing the Buttner situation, I can't help thinking we should have pushed harder on that deal if we had the power to do so.

The Saints Fanzine that debuted a year or so ago....

I had a mate who wrote a few things for them and we both joked about how poor their communication was. You wouldn't hear from them for ages and then they'd email you asking if you could knock out a few hundred words on topic x in a few days etc. I guess that's just symptomatic of doing a fanzine as a hobby whilst also trying to complete your education or get a job etc. In the circumstances, it's pretty impressive that they managed to get three (I think that's how many it was) issues printed and released. I remember thinking the editing of my stuff was odd at times ... stuff I thought was pretty good got chopped whilst bits I thought were lame or dull would get used as pull quotes etc. I guess it's all very subjective! -

Why on earth people would want to run on city streets dodging pedestrians and heavy traffic on the roads is beyond me. From Regents Park I jump into my car and drive to the eastern edge of the New Forest and run there. It's a ten minute drive as long as I don't go at rush hour.

One of the guys who runs it seems to only tweet about finance these days so I guess he's more concerned with the day job. All in all, I felt it was a bit bland and lacked its own character. That said, I had an article printed in there for the issue that went on sale just before the Man Utd cup game recalling some of our previous games against Man Utd, and my article was bloody brilliant I reckon. -
Pleased to see we're getting value for money from that ropey video we put together for season ticket holders, and I'm glad that our wigs and face paints have impressed this chap.

Call me mental, but I don't want to pay £6m for a player with an injury that was potentially serious but apparently is not so bad after all. Not until the injury is sorted anyway, i.e. not during this window.
-
Personally I thought he would have been worth a go later on last Saturday (if he wasn't already injured by then). The game was begging out for somebody to run at Wigan with the ball at times.

if you want really easy why not just use google sites?

Source close to the club has claimed that De Ridder has been told he will only rarely feature this season and he is welcome to move on if he finds himself a club willing to meet Saints' valuation. He is keen to be playing football so it looks possible that he could move, but things have come a bit late in the window for him unfortunately. Continental destination would be the most likely. I always thought he needed more of a chance last season tbh. I wouldn't throw him into the Prem side, but I'd like to perhaps see him out on loan in the Champ which would give us time to see whether he can develop in the right way.

Hearing rumours that Ramirez got off the private jet at Southampton Airport, took one look at the weather and decided to just stay on the plane and head back to Italy.

Just seen the goals after reading all they hype and I have to say I think people are overreacting a bit with regards to Puncheon and Reeves' goals. Reading Twitter, I thought we'd just scored two of the most sensational goals ever! TBF, I think the Reeves one is probably better than Puncheon's. Hats off to Puncheon for giving it a go, but he's in acres of space and the keeper is nowhere etc. It's certainly not the goal scoring opportunity he's going to get in the Prem every week. Reeves' goal was very well taken though; very professional for such a youngster. So, two good goals, but I hope everybody kept their shirts on and didn't start swinging them above their heads etc.

This could be a ploy to make it easier for fans to buy tickets to away games... Sell SRL, watch certain fans throw toys out of prams and refuse to watch Saints ever again, tickets become much easier for everybody else to buy. SIMPLES.

By that logic, we should sell Rickie Lambert if Villa offer "more than he is worth". ;-)

Sounds like he's probably guilty of doing exactly what most of us have prob all done once or twice before; no more. Doesn't make it right, but the 'holier than though' brigade probably need to get back to raising money for dying kiddies etc.
