  1. Hi di hi....
  2. Interesting to note that in our first 5 or 6 games, when we started like an express train, we played Hammond and Cork in the middle; Morgan was not involved. My point being, much as he (Morgan) is a loss, we can clearly still do well without him
  3. Have added "automatically" after 'promoted' in original post. Sorry about that - rather crucial element!
  4. Bless you Joe ;-) (though you wouldn't have thought that if you had had to endure the 2 hour car drive home with me!!)
  5. ....in the last 10 seasons, the team which is top of the Championship going into the Easter weekend (i.e. before Good Friday) - Saints this season - has not failed to be promoted automatically. And the bookies have us as nailed on too. Am as gutted as the next fan about the ending to today's game, but I still believe. Onwards and upwards!
  6. How pathetically bad was the Barnsley keeper for their 3rd?!
  7. The first rule of Project Scum Breaker is: you do not talk about Project Scum Breaker. The second rule of Project Scum Breaker is: you do not talk about Project Scum Breaker to a bloke in Bournemouth carrying a Saints megastore bag.
  8. Good news, bad news or scary news?
  9. Stiliyan Petrov of Aston Villa diagnosed with acute leukaemia. All the very best to him in fighting this awful condition.
  10. Why does us losing mean that "the wheels come off"?? We could lose this, and go on to win all remaining games and win the title. Equally, we could lose this and end up only having to win another couple before the end of the season, depending on how WHU and Reading do. NA has said that there will be ups and downs still to come, and I don't see this game as any more 'defining' than P*mpey at home or Palace away. I don't understand the need for such constant doom and gloom or the idea that this game will define our season. Crazy on both counts.....
  11. He was booked for intimating that the assistant ref needed glasses (he 'made' glasses with his hands and put them to his eyes) and for contesting, at the same time, the decision for the Saints free kick (second half).
  12. Amen to that brother; I am now fully reassured.
  13. Rickie said in his own interview on Solent that he had taken a few kicks to his ankle but that he was fine. I would take that as as close to gospel as you're going to get. Won't stop some trying desperately to find the cloud attached to the silver lining, of course.....
  14. Excellent; great news. Thanks S-Clarke.
  15. Where did you hear that S-Clarke? Listened to NA's reaction on Solent site but didn't pick that up. Excellent if true.
