What are these loyalty points you speak of? Are they like Green Shield stamps where you can save up for a Ford Cortina?! Watford away.

A slight deviation: At away games in the pubs there are always a cluster of folks who by 12:30 have no doubt had a few Shandies with not enough Lemonade in. When it's time to head to the game they are all well oiled and over happy with life. Then standing in the ground before the kick off and the fluffy mascot comes for a closer look at the away fans, and you see some of the same merry folks who were in the pub swaying slightly as they tell the Mascot to go away, that they wallop the Weasel, and present them the middle finger salute! Amusingly bizarre to watch as at that point you wonder what colour the sky is in their little world at that particular moment.

Better have a look in the Beetroot packing factories!

Have Stoke tickets been received by post yet?

My Daughters one turned up within days of success in the 4 hour bun fight! -
Wasn't too popular with the everyday staff at SMS. A friend who works there said he always had an arrogant Billy big Whatsits attitude, never acknowledging anyone unless he really had to. Whereas all the other players always said hello etc. Might prove to be the Monkey off our backs.

The Wigan players looked destroyed at the end, which is a shame with the Cup Final on Saturday just hope they can pick themselves up for that otherwise that will be a damp squib. The dark flip side is if they beat Citeh that might put a bit of a spark in their stride. Come on Saints just get the season put to bed Sunday afternoon.

Not fussed either way, there have been flashes of promise but for such a large outlay quite frankly I have been less than impressed. If we get a decent return and someone else has been identified then so be it.

No axe to grind, by all accounts we had them under the cosh today and when 1 point looked on the cards he pulls the rabbit out of the hat, the relief must have been immense. At the end of the day Spurs pay his wages he can't lock up his emotions everytime he plays against us.

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

What a shame, but that's why we are down the bottom, and they are up the top. Bloody Lino at Swansea, if it wasn't for him we would be a little more relaxed tonight..................... Still beats the mundanity of mid table obscurity I guess!! -

Probably someone having a quick Jimmy behind the bush, because Puncheon has just had a turnout in the Portacabin loo's and made it a no go zone for the next 20 minutes!!

Good to see a Southampton academy product snaffled the lot: shame we had to sell him.

Blimey Charlie! last time I looked on here just before 6pm there were just 2 pages, now it looks like Prozac sales on the internet will be getting a major boost in the Hampshire area. Skimming through it, made me think of the scene in Airplane when someone shouts "we are all going to die!!" and panic breaks out.

Humongous is the word that is missing between A & Loss. £12m plus £100k a week for a pit pony like that!! That does have Harold Redknapp written all over it!

3 games, not mathematically safe, given an out of recent form spanking from a tidy team, time to earn his corn. Thought his post match comments were an honest assessment.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction
John Boy Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
As MP said to Solent: Mal Dia - Bad Day. Clarke had done hs homework on us and fair play to him he has done a very good job for WBA this season. It will be interesting to see how Pochettino lifts the players from this, but then this is what he is paid for. The one thing that made me seeth more than a disappointing performance from the team was the fickle pathetic attitude of the fans who got up and walked out at 0-3. I so wished we had miraculously pulled off the feat we did against Liverpool a few years back when at 0-3 with about 10 minutes left we battered it back to 3-3 at the final whistle. At least we have a decent hardcore of fans. -
I had the same thought, but (having seen the replays) in reality in the real time the ref had at his disposal he was absolutely bob on: hard as that is to say.
-
Between Lambert, Davis and Schneiderlin for me. Lallana admits that he looks up to Lambert, and seems too nice, which is no good. I voted for Morgan as he is one player who can lead by example, especially as week in week out he consistently puts in one hell of a shift.
-
I know Footballers are recognised as being not as sharp between the ears as your average bloke on the street, but the look of shock from Danny Fox at the red card jeez!! It's a bloody good job the Baggies player was already on the ground with nothing to resist the impact, that was pure kamikaze!!
-
At the end of the day we are all Saints fans and we know that the toast invariably lands butter side down, but until the fat lady no longer has a ticket for Southampton as Greavsie always said its a funny old game.
-
Trouble is he let an absolute battering of Jos go scot free then books Jos I think for something not dissimilar: which in the coliseum that is St Mary's with Saints tinted spectacles just whips us all up into a frenzy.
-
To add a little more sparkle to this lightening the mood thread: Newcastle are currently being spanked 6-0 at home to Liverpool!!
-
I too thought it would be Lallana, and initially surprised at Cork but then afterwards, and now sat at home, he did dilly dally a bit more than normal today............... I do really wish he would have a go when he has a clear sight of goal.

In the past when we had Adult and Child STs when we had a friend coming and one of the kids was off out somewhere, rather than queer our pitch we upgraded at the ticket office, we paid. The difference they issued a match ticket and kept hold of the season ticket book which we just collected after the match.
