Fell asleep on a train and ended up missing my station and the train arrived at the last stop which was some town in Worcestershire. Ok I thought, I'll just get the next return train to my stop. Only problem was the next train was tomorrow yet it was only 4pm on a Sunday!!! Just as well i was returning from doing some cash in hand work as I had to book into a B&B which cost a fortune at the time.

How was the debt calculated? did it include the total expenditure of the players? I remember when Johnson was sold to Liverpool, money was still owed to Chelsea. How was that debt included? Was his value as an asset reduced by the specific payment plan? What was the interest on these director/bank loans? Accounts can hide much of this and it will be interesting to see the results of the forensic analysis.

No. The total value of those claims are ~£150k and would not impact on the CVA vote. What is probably holding up the process is the additional claims of those below the £12.5k threshold at 20% that could get more at the £2.5k at 100%. It's certainly strange that considering the CVA vote was based on estimates and claims that were not verified but the payout is! As this was a private agreement (Portpin to the creditors) I don't think it shouldn't have been stated in the CVA (obligations of newco).

FIFA has been a standard bearer for corruption for decades. It will only change when someone in football grows a pair of balls and launches a break away. Otherwise some other greedy f ucker wants in on the money and takes over from Blatter on the back of transparency and change.

I hope he does, but I would also hope this is important enough for him to have a break from his holiday/doing important work to post on a fan's forum to feed the craving for club info so it can be dissected and the meaning of each sentence scrutinized and re-analysed to fit their own opinion or prejudice.

Thanks, I didn't know about the 20% sell on bit. The tribunal panel got criticized after the Bostock transfer a few years ago, maybe they are starting to structure the fees due a bit differently. It'll be interesting to see the comparison with the Dickson fee.

Can the tribunal also set a sell-on clause? I only ask as like Ken Tone, think he has the making of a decent footballer and the tribunal has tended to side on the receiving club valuation based on development.
