Indeed, someone that can pick a player to fit into his type of football. CMS may do well for Brighton due to their style, rather than relying on his speed and striking ability alone as he did for Posh.
As Jaidi signed for another year, NA expects him to play. Seaborne maybe the weak link but until NA decides to sell/loan/not use him then there is no point on a fifth CB. Money is best spent elsewhere while Martin and Seaborne get some game time for their development and assessment.
Good news and it looks from the article he'll be making some first team appearances next season. That's four centre backs, I don't really understand the obsession of bringing in a fifth.
The same could be said for CB, what with Martin and Seaborne as well as Jaidi to partner Fonte. Do we really need five centre backs? The only reason for that would be if one of Martin or Seaborne are leaving.
That's a p**s poor excuse from the club. If there is an issue, I'm sure you can go into your bank and set it up and the bank can confirm to the club. All you need is the club bank details.
Agree, it'll make a nice change to see a progressive squad over the years by keeping the best and adding to it through the youth development and sound purchases. In the past I think there were an average of 10-12 changes (in's and out's) in the squad per year. That's certainly changed.
I also think there is some over-analysis of any communications from the club or media.
I was certainly grateful for a light-hearted OP. Now I'll be waiting for my training on the Saintsweb Standard Operating Procedure so I can act accordingly.
Simon Charlton from Huddersfield, but I'd expect there were loads of signings that just didn't make it and for that reason are hard to remember from 20 years ago!
I wonder what provisions Saints have to make sure it's the technical ability that counts and the player progress with that in mind rather than age and size.
An interesting read on how the FA are (finally) trying to help out.
