The payment plan might have changed but the amount owed is the same and not sure what happens to the final payment date - anyone know?. They may survive this season thanks to three worse teams, but next season will be interesting as Nugent and Utaka will no longer be contracted to the club, same with Brown and Hughes. There maybe a couple of others and with Dickinson, Sonko, Halford and De laet all loans they will be gone. Can Kanu keep going for another year or Hreidarsson? Their first team will look quite different next season: Team against Forest 01 Ashdown 03 Dickinson 05 De Laet 20 Ward 25 Sonko 04 Mokoena 07 Lawrence 08 Mullins 17 Utaka 10 Nugent 27 Kanu Substitutes 37 Flahavan, 06 Hreidarsson, 33 Rocha, 36 Kilbey Of course much will depend on the FL on how much the skates plead of having no squad but I'm sure there will still be financial restrictions in place rather than spend what they like. But to have around ten changes to the first team is one big handicap.

If you really think we don't need to buy...

Is that why the club have recalled Wotton... oh! -
latest piece from sky dated 17th Jan: Manset unruffled by rumours doesn't link us anymore. Not that rumours are accurate or anything! If true, I wonder where this leaves Doble... (out of the building/at the bus stop)?

Thank goodness we have NA for the business end of the season. FFS.

LD50s maybe aiming the bar too high for gastric irritations or other possible complications though! The TD50s would be the same, but it's all about moderation, afterall, water can kill you if you drink enough.

But didn't the league results after the cup game show it wasn't the case. It was more to do with the tactics, bad referees (well the one at the tranmere game anyway) and playing catch up?

Having one player out isn't so bad but the combination of Lallana and Chaplow is a bit of a worry. It's time the team showed it's quality and can cope without both, hopefully only for a few games. If it's long term for both, the loan market beckons. I don't mind winning games 1-0, the defence is sound and the team will carry on creating, we'll be in with a chance more often than not but with the second half of the season now underway, the team needs to up their game as i don't think Saints can lose as many as they have. Brighton have still only 3 defeats all season, we need to be as impressive as that if the title is the goal.

Bugger, can't make either date! Hoping for another re-schedule of this match.

So where are the gaps? If Punch and AOC stay, don't really see a problem as there seems to be a few youngsters that can step in for the odd game and if it's longer term then the loan market should suffice. Isn't Bournemouth's squad one of if not the smallest in the league and they are doing OK, just like last season. So I think the issue of picking up the three points is more than just a numbers game, thankfully we have Adkins who seems to know how to utilise the squad well.

The guardian now has a Football League blog, which has been a welcome addition, although one of the last entries was on the FA Cup which talked more about lost its magic because of PL teams fielding weaken sides than the chance for FL clubs to shine! The observer report isn't great but you can put in a comment (if registered).

AOX maybe an important part of the footballing jigsaw of the right player at the right age to create the core of a team which will be together for a number of seasons. Players that have been together are more in tune with each other which is the philosophy and an important part of creating a team at Saints. There is no reason to sell, we are building a team, a winning team.

I wonder when the flash forward will happen?

He can still be sold iirc, if he hasn't played for Yeovil yet then he'll be free to play for the buying club.

Apparently it was the Daniel Azougy who brokered that deal.

The biggest contribution comes from poor observational skills where the young drivers are less likely to see danger until it is to late, in many cases compounded by driving too fast for the road conditions (not just weather) and distractions (mates/radio/phone etc). There have been a few studies at the University of Reading about this and one argument is to make sure youngsters have enough hours under their belt before a full licence is given and also do an observational test in a simulator.

Hodgson's away record is appalling, IIRC, he only one once with Fulham last season and is it only one with Liverpool this season?

I've known a few here where the lowest quote they were given didn't make a difference whether they had the PP or not. Just remember that quotes will vary considerably and it seems searching many companies is a better bet than going for one that would give a discount on a premium.

From what I've heard the Pass Plus does not give a benefit, only the Advance Test will do that. Need to shop around as Insurance Companies will want to spread their risk as no company will focus on providing good deals for the youngsters (the worst group to insure). Otherwise, don't get them a car if the cost is too much. I got my first car (ten year old fiesta) at 22 when I finished uni and got a job, I was certainly fitter having to ride my bike most places!

I'd be worried if I was a Charlon fan... Charlton Athletic's new owners are decisive: they sacked the manager Phil Parkinson yesterday within 24 hours of taking control. What else do we know about them? Well, Charlton's website yesterday described Tony Jimenez and Michael Slater respectively as "an international property developer" and "a lawyer and businessman". The pair hold their interest in Charlton through CAFC Holdings Limited, "a company managed and controlled in Switzerland", though its registration is held in the offshore tax haven of the British Virgin Islands. Charlton's chairman, Slater, as the club's website explains, began work as a solicitor. Indeed, a Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in August 2007, although clearing him of the primary allegations, found "the way in which [slater] conducted himself could well be detrimental to the good reputation of the solicitors' profession as a whole". A spokesman for Slater said yesterday: "Allegations were made and these were 100% rejected by the SDT." As for Jimenez, the former vice‑president (player recruitment) at Newcastle United, Digger hopes his international property development interests have more life to them than those UK businesses on whose board he has served. Of the 17 UK companies where has been a director, 16 have been dissolved. The 17th is also set to be, either this month or next. "Tony has been a successful businessman in international property over the last 20 years," the spokesman added.

I think the one on the right has let the team down only having one belly roll.
