  1. If Town win, they still have MK Dons and Brighton away. So based on the two sets of fixtures, Town have the hardest so a win for them may not be as bad as we think. Here are the two set of fixtures, apart from this w/e the 22nd April(*) games will be big games: Peterborough have: Plymouth (h) Leyton Orient (a) * Yeovil (h) Rochdale (a) D&R (h) Huddersfield have: Charlton (a) MK Dons (a) * D&R (h) Brighton (a) Brentford (h)
  2. An interesting idea, worthy of it's own thread I think. However, the human genome covers the nature part but don't forget nurture is just as important! I know Richard Dawkins has mapped UK genome ancestry but don't now when it was available or who broadcasted it. I tried to find it but didn't have time. Of course we all know about the out of africa theory but there is also a trace of neanderthal in some of us!
  3. I would have done it but for the date which is the day before my holiday (ties in to the school holidays).
  4. Not quite on the same level as Derek and Clive. (NSFW, unless you have ear phones)
  5. At least the data will not lost on a tube train or stolen from a car then.
  6. I think there maybe environmental and transport implications with regard to how you go to work and heating however, I'm sure they don't need a census to work that one out! I submitted mine on-line about a month ago when they said it couldn't be done (only saved).
  7. Expecting us to win this one which will take a bit of pressure away from the Rochdale match which should be an open game anyway with them pushing for the play-offs. Agree with Pichards' line up, especially if Lallana isn't 100%.
  8. which one?
  9. in a meeting sat with some yanks in new york so relying on your updates.
  10. I'm thinking that. By the time we play them they may well be promoted with only the title to worry about but too far ahead for it to be a concern.
  11. Got to like this... http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/posh_promotion_special_why_posh_will_be_in_the_championship_next_season_1_2542248
  12. McCann, an utter waste of space and we paid over a million for him!
  13. This backs up SaintBobby's post: Ridsdale added: "The club can get to the end of the season through the goodwill of the players and staff. But it can't be right and proper that the staff and players go without pay." More here So it looks like Plymouth will survive, at least while there is a game to be played.
  14. In that time we had a scarely high through put of players, I wouldn't be surprised if it was around the 100 mark and as you say we missed the best talent sitting in our reserves.
  15. a class act, so many great goals there. Happy memories.
  16. This happen recently to my company and although the procedure is based on a set of competencies, they can dictate the weighting of each to help decide who to get rid off. If you're upset someone in charge then it's time to look around.

  19. Test run?
  20. I agree, pre-season expectation may have been built too high but I was expecting more, something like how Brighton have done it this season. However it came crashing down with the manager debacle which, since the appoint of Adkins I still expect promotion and it hasn't helped with always having games in hand so seemingly viewed as off the pace.
  21. ...and I've seen teams buckle under expectation or not perform having done the hard part of obtaining a promotion place. It'll be an interesting game and I'm glad we play them at this time. EDIT: Even if they are that far ahead that title is won, teams don't always perform having done the job.
  22. We better start with a winning run, three wins will see us put the pressure on Huddersfield and Peterborough.
  23. I like the quote... "In many ways he is similar to Peter Crouch" but doesn't state them, only saying " although he is much more of a 'natural goalscorer' than Crouchy." lol
  24. ...but his mind is already on the international game ;-)
