bottom of the page... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/club/?page_id=10729 you may need a magnifying glass though!

The trouble is those that come into the Cardiff side want to do well to stay in the playing eleven. If it's the in-form players injured then we will have little excuse not to beat them.
-
Not so much damned if they do. If only they engaged brain first and put a proposal which could be discussed rather than be dismissed as a pointless piece self promotion (as well as being a daft proposal).

Is that the joke of the day?

Bournemouth still can't get approval for Thomson
Doctoroncall replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
I expect this has something to do with it... "At relegation threatened Bournemouth co-owner Paul Baker, a lifelong Chester City supporter, is trying to sell his 50 per cent stake. He has admitted that he has no more money to put into the club. The Supporters' Trust have issued a highly critical statement about the financial situation at the club, in particular a plan to sell 2009/10 season tickets well in advance to raise some money. If the club goes insolvent again, fans could lose their money." -
Depends on the agreement with the council on what could be built there. There may have been regulations or agreements regarding retail and leisure outlets. Besides the costs would have dramatically increased from the off-the-shelf stadium we have at the moment to purpose built complex.

You obviously have a problem reading complete sentences!!

heart says: Cardiff (h) win Ipswich (a) lose Birmingham (a) draw Derby (h) draw QPR (h) win head says: Cardiff (h) draw Ipswich (a) lose Birmingham (a) draw Derby (h) lose QPR (h) draw Birmingham are awful under McLeish considering the quality under his disposal so a win is possible especially if it's a mid week game and only 12k fans there.

At least sid's staggeringly irrelevant bit of information made sense! -
Mike Wilde..was it all worth it for you??
Doctoroncall replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
I thought it was the execs that were working this not the three major shareholders. Can you clarify FC? -
... and a decent manager (although McLeish is defying the odds so far!)

When does the MLS season start?
-
Probably because he wouldn't have tried the dutch experiment. Wasn't it Crouch that sent Rasiak and Skacel off on loan? Two high earners. There are many ways to lower outgoings and still get a team that is capable of competing -Swansea, Doncaster, Preston, Blackpool...etc If we had gates that only dropped ~1% (FL average) instead of the 26% that has happen, it would have helped further stablise the finances.

Mike to Rupert: 'You wouldn't mind passing the tissues Mr Chairman' -
I would consider it... obviously it would depend on the benefits given, but I would consider it.

I didn't realise Wotte had a reputation to ruin.
-
Out of interest are you counting Plymouth as his first game?
-
If Wotte keeps us up then it would be a fantastic achievement, at least twice as good as Pearson. I just can't see it though.
-
We just cannot create those clear cut chances...getting behind the defensive line at home. It was always going to be hard to cut through teams organised to defend and counter attack. I cannot see where the home wins will come from.

The Echo and Wotte - both ****ing me off...

No that's the police (the bullies), the stewards were the ones holding the bully's coat. -

So How Many Players Have We Brought In This Year?
Doctoroncall replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
When Reading got promoted the first time, they used 15 players in their starting line up in the whole season. There is a trend the more players used for the starting line ups during the season the lower down the league table they are.
