This is the bit that troubles me. Partly that under a different management team 'failed' players can suddenly find their touch and become improved players. Why can't there be more consistency at the club? With regards to BWP, he's been at Saints for three years and worked under different regimes but still hasn't shown improvement from the first day he was here. I remember when Soccer AM came down to Staplewood and shot the 'hit the crossbar' event. OK it was a fun event but you'd expect a competitive edge in the squad to at least do yourself justice. You could see before his turn from his reaction when interviewed he wasn't going to do well and sure enough he was one of the worst if not the worst in his attempt... his heart and mind just weren't in it.

Honimiere was far from disgraced and left the impression that the return to 1m (and beyond) would bemore to his liking. He is one to keep an eye on granted a more suitable test of stamina.

I'm not sure as there was the Wigley factor to consider, but at least we would have had a better chance.

It would be interesting to see the trend over the season, by the end of November, the average was 15,675. At the end of the season it was 17,850ish. 2200 rise from one half to the other seems strange especially considering the dire performances in December and January.
